After reading the deadspin article, I think to myself, "This is disgusting." Because my attitude towards women in gaming has been somewhat passive. I always wanted to win. Regardless of whether my teammates or opponents were female. I always wanted to win. On this side of the planet there are many many many showgirls used to help advertise tournaments for Starcraft II, and, for crying out loud, Kim Phan is in Charge of Blizzard eSports, and if I'm not mistaken , the top-dog at Blizzard Entertainment here in Taiwan is also female.
So, what is this, where did it originate, and why is it happening?
BTW, sorry if someone already posted this here somewhere but I searched "gamergate" on teamliquid and it turned up nothing.
