Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series

Masters Cup is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). OSC is the SEA regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. The top 32 players ranked via SEA Power Rankings / OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion!

PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.

Current 2014 rankings can be found here

So racist...

There has been a well documented short supply of Terrans in our tournaments, and an even further short supply of results, so hopefully this can encourage more participation from Raynor's men.
The best players, regardless of race will still win!

Plus we'd like to see a few more Terrans qualify for our $2500+ end of year OSC Finals (Top 32)

the prize doubled for terrans is really a lame rule. I'ts unfair towards the other players which put the same effort as the terran ones. It's not players' fault if that race has weak results. If they can't make to the top then the finals should not see any terrans, like in any other tournament. This really makes no sense, but whatever, you make the tournament, you make the rules, I guess

The rule might seem "lame" for non-SEA residents, but seriously, we rarely have more than a single Terran player "in the money" EVERY TOURNAMENT.

It's not about the skill level either, SEA is notorious for producing basically only strong Zergs because players look up to the likes of PiG, Petraeus, mOOnGLaDe and many others.
iaguz is probably the only known SEA terran player known by an international audience, sure there are others, but there are just soooo many zerg/protoss players in the region.

I know heaps of people that aren't Terran who like it :/

Sometimes it's very unfair, I agree. I think it should only be for tournaments with a certain number of players and it's SEA only or something? It's a decent idea, could be implemented a bit better with some testing though.
