After the successful third edition has revealed that there is a lot going on in the German player scene, we start another chapter with the Germany Cup (Deutschlandpokal): The NVIDIA Deutschlandpokal #4 presented by inStarcraft once again combines established pro players and new talents in an interesting tournament to determine Germany's top player.
Format
There will be a mixture of invites, sign-ups and qualification tournaments: 8 players will be directly invited and 16 players will be taken from mail sign-ups open to Master and Grandmaster league. The remanining 8 players are taken from two open qualification tournaments. As the name suggests the tournament is limited to German players, which means you need to have a German passport or identity card (Personalausweis). If there are doubts in a certain case, the tournament admin can request a copy of an official document.

Sign-Ups (16)
German players playing in the master and grandmaster league could sign up for the tournament until 6th November 29:59 CET. All required details are given in the official signup announcement

Qualification (8)
Two open qualification tournaments will be hold in November after the signup phase for master and grandmaster players has ended and the successful signups have been announced. The tournaments are open for every German StarCraft II player.
Schedule
Similar to the first two Germany Cups, the tournament consists of a qualification process and and the main event.
Signup for Master and Grandmaster players:
19th October until until 6th November 29:59 CET. The signups will be sorted by league placement and the top 16 will advance to the tournament group stage. All other players still have the chance to qualifiy via the open tournaments.
Qualification Torunaments:
There will be two open qualification tournaments open for every German StarCraft II player. The dates are:
- Tue, 12 November 2013 - 18:30 CET Checkin, 19:00 CET Start Tournament Page
- Thu, 14 November 2013 - 18:30 CET Checkin, 19:00 CET Start Tournament Page
22 - 24 November 2013 Main Event:
Fri, 22 November 2013 - Group Stage (Day 1)
Sat, 23 November 2013 - Group Stage (Day 2)
Sun, 24 November 2013 - Playoffs
Price Pool
The price money is sponsored by NVIDIA and has reached a new event record of 600€. 300€ goes to the winner, 150€ to the runner up. The 3rd and 4th placed players will recieve 100€ and 50€ respectively.

The entire tournament will be casted by our inStarcraft.de caster team on inStarcraft TV.
