so when's the first time we'll see skt's 2nd team in action? their adc "it now" made it to challenger just now with beastly stats, especially on poke and skillshot dependent champs. looks like a beast team in the making

The online portion is gonna be on NGTV.
Kinda weird that LPL & OGN teams can participate but LCS teams/players can't.

The Leaguepedia Page is alright.
Also, this for the Chinese qualifier - http://www.tatazu.com/index.php?action-viewnews-itemid-37829-page-16
And for Taiwan it's gonna be Gama Bears vs winner of LNL (it's between TPS & TPA so far).
Other than CN, KR & TW most will be 3rd tier teams.

Because Riot is against international competition outside of Worlds but Tencent and Riot Korea aren't.

Given how China/Korea have participated in other cross-regional competition over the past year while NA/EU haven't, it's not that surprising.

more china vs korea will be good after worlds to see how the other teams in the region mathc up - presumably we'll get some different teams than we saw in s3, and presumably more games

Can't say it's surprising but I was hoping that at least between Worlds and LCS Spring S4 they would be allowed to play in other tournaments, since it's such a long time.

There's also IeSF, IEM Singapore, IEM Sao Paulo, Dreamhack Winter and ITB's EU Nations Cup in this gap and it's gonna be pretty frustrating if they keep LCS players on the sidelines for all of them.

Well there's only gonna be 1 team for each and probably gonna meet just in the final while the other ~30 teams will be walkovers. Imo the KR & CN qualifiers will be higher quality than the actual main event.

Have to say I don't particularly care about WCG anymore, but good games will be good games.
I'm most interested in the CJ teams, KT A, and Jin Air Falcons. LG-IM 2 might also be interesting to see.

CJ teams using their summer rosters still or reformed rosters? I wanna see the CJ superteam. Doesn't exist yet and is already my favorite team.

How were the teams chosen? Are the new teams (Sirius Vega/Mook) any good?
Group D is so much easier to the other 3.

It kinda sucks that both CJ teams and both KT teams are in the same groups.

Second place advances too so all four can advance.

Well, at least into the wild card in which case at lest one would be eliminated.

Too bad SKT T2 isn't finished yet. They could honestly give SKT T1 a run for their money assuming they get coached up in the same manner. Godly top laner, godly jungler, godly adc, just need godly support and mid laner. I guess the mid laner is incredibly important though in this meta.

I've also heard xenics storm is pretty strong now.

I really want to see if KT has changed. The roster is perfect, but with Score being given a new powerful Corki and Ezreal, all they need is to have InSec learn more champions (switch to more carry role than tank) then they can easily win Winter.

Is Sirius Vega the same as Sirius Altair which played in last season's NLB? Anyway I love the fact that they're named after bright stars.

I'm pretty sure Mook played in Clan Battle (which is like 1 tier below NLB) and finished top 4 there.
