It was one of only a handful of stories he tells thats funny.

1.) Mani isnt online for a few weeks. (hey, whats the point of living if you cant spend every waking minute on the net?) 2.) Rek, with his best "worried mother" instinct declares that mani must dead and/or in trouble (and therefore in need of help). 3.) TL.net googles for info on mani and his family, and subsequently goes to japan to track (stalk) him down with the help of said googled information and the obvious fact that there must only be one red haired man in the entire country. I cant decide if this is the dumbest thing i've ever seen or the most entertaining thing i've ever seen

We are talking about a person we have known (possibly in real life) for over, what? 3 years now? And you decide and take a joke of it?

If I do, could you please rally the troops to track me down (or whatever's left of my remains) for the memorial service? Thanks!

Edit: There seem to be a number of Yellow Pages sites for Japanese telephone #s. Does anyone know the name of the company he teaches for? Edit 2: It might be one of these places: http://www.yellowpage-jp.com/result.php?pref=27&gcd=617 Anyone want to do trial-and-error on the phone numbers for the english-teaching schools to see if a Mr. Trevor Allen works at any of them?

I'm not sure he even teaches at a language school, I thought he was a JET teacher, which most probably means he's a teacher in some public school. Which there is a fucking ton of in Oosaka, especially since we don't even know where exactly around Oosaka he is. Could be anywhere in Kinki region really... Best shot would probably be going through JET, and asking them what they know about Mani, and if they don't, maybe they can give us some contacts. -Mynock
