I'm ashamed to be an American. It's not close, it's just early.
Unless you mean Florida, in which case yes, we all are ashamed of Florida.

So if dems were really excited about flordia and they lose, what is this saying for the rest of the country?

I imagine he will stay ahead until we sweep to the very west. Without Cali existing, Trump would probably win the popular vote.

Still interested in seeing how much Trump can close in the rural regions in NC and Ohio, that will be a big decider assuming he can take Florida. the margins of victory are a ton thinner even in states like California and New york. "its morning in america" after jimmy carter, the Iran hostage crisis going on and you stack the way Reagan was able to rally republicans like a god among men and you get a sweeping landslide.
I mean if hillary actualy had done something illegal and was being tried for crimes, then obama caves into egyption demands about american access to the suez canal. and an actualy good republican canidate and you'd see the same thing easy.

That was almost 40 years ago and the democrats ran crappy opponents. Also it was a very different time in politics. I think the economy was bad in 1980.After Reagan got in they had to hike rates to around 17% just to keep inflation under control. It's all about the economy. bro the economy is doing good. already talks of overheating

Not too too much.
For Hillary what she should win from most likely to least is:
Wisconsin > Michigan > Colorado > Penn > NH... NC, Nevada, NC, Ohio and Florida are just a bonus (Arizona, Iowa, and Georgia if Trump really fucked up).

Those percentages beat most results that the communist party was collecting in the former Eastern Bloc some 30 years ago... and there weren't even any alternative options in the elections back then xD

Just a feeling, but the margin in CA is going to be a a sight to behold.

Putting aside that Trump winning Florida by 80K is not enough to win him the election, we're still missing two Clinton strongholds that can possibly close a 100K vote differential.

NC and Ohio closing down to less than 4%. Looking better and better, will be a damn close election.

And while I'm sure the US economy is doing well in a few select cities and privileged areas in the majority of the country it's pretty damn weak.Hence the rise of Trumps economic populism.

If anything people are talking about how overvalued the stock market is with QE being hard to understand its effects this far after its done.
