I am a properly functioning dude in a healthy relationship and I find your assertion that what he does is a man acting like a man pretty offensive. I am a man and I don't act like that because the way he acts is super, super fucking creepy. It's not something innate to men, we're better than that and if we can't be better than that then we might as well give up and off ourselves right now. Generalising the behaviour of the worst of our gender to all of our gender and then using it as an excuse is bullshit.
