It seems like Quantic is pretty hypocritical for picking Destiny up in the first place. They knew what they were getting involved with, and they used it to generate publicity for them while it was convenient. Once it wasn't...well we see what happened.

Right, so, free speech protects a person's rights to say whatever they want, but it does not protect another person's right to criticize. Free speech only extends to the first thing anyone says. All commentary must be strictly censored.

His "career" is to stream his ridiculous tirades for people on own3d, it has nothing to do with his Quantic sponsorship and he'll be able to make money just fine. Now legitimate players like SaSe won't be associated with someone who calls people gook for laughs so maybe the real players will have a better chance at getting better sponsorships.

Really saw it coming tbh.. What I didn't expect is that Destiny had the choice to stay, but decided against it as it would harm his teammates. What a broski. I really have to agree with what was said... People are so eager to grab pitchforks and trash a upcoming contributor to e-sports for any wrongdoing to the sponsors of teams while they could care less to say thanks for sponsoring e-sports...

I would agree that the community is to rash to email sponsors about this. They should wait and see the respond from Quantic first before taking further steps.
On the other hand, racism and profanity should not be tolerated and public figures should know better about this. I hope this would make them think before saying or acting something not so smart in the future.
