well, there are physical differences and something to base this upon. For one, each blood cells have different shape.

i dont know. =( everyone in japan kept asking me, but i have no idea.

The biggest challenges to this type of stuff is separating how you truly are and what you want to THINK you are. Like, I'd like to think of myself as kind, caring and open, but am I really? Who knows.
I don't take it seriously. Koreans don't take this seriously. It's just stuff people do to pass time/make small talk/gossip/other social interaction stuff. Hey maybe it works and everyone gets a laugh out of it. Or maybe it doesn't and you get to know the other person better in the process.
Oh, and I'm an O type and the O description matches me pretty well. Go figure.
Edit: And I think it is an Asian thing in general and not exclusive to Koreans.

No no no, no one's saying blood type isn't real. Blood type is very real. Correlation between blood type and personality traits isn't.

Hmm I should probably know what my blood type is, but I actually have no idea.
|
I know my bloodtype just in case I get injured and am concious to let any first aid workers know what type of blood I need.
That's the only reason you should want to know anyways haha. Although horoscopes make for an interesting thought experiment, where every single person born during a particular month have exactly the same temperament/attitude or what not. Utterly preposterous...

I've never in my life heard of this before, unforunately i don't know my blood type. I'm mostly B and AB but not entirely.

Superstition brings misfortune.

No, the red blood cells have the same shape - they just express different surfaceproteins... This doesn't make their shape different though as all healthy red bloodcells are biconcave...

I don't think there is any correlation at all, but as someone who is type AB, ill go with it. =)

That's actually a really interesting poll, but you should update/change the OP so that it includes donor capabilities. Blood types are O, A, B and AB but there's also a +/- for each blood type.

I'm O-, the best kind. :B

For donating, lol.
The best kind is the most common, which is O+, which is me.
Though it seems in Korea O, A and B are almost equal, but throughout most of the world A and O are most common.

You guys are being dismissive and finding this weird simply because it's from a different culture. Get over it.

Lol, what the fuck is this personality shit. I believe I am A or O. I tested it in biology class years ago but I forgot.

I dismiss it because it has no basis in reality, just like astrology, tarot cards, i-ching, palm reading, magic crystals, pyramid power, numerology, etc. False things which masquerade as truth deserve only contempt.
