This thread serves as a discussion about Leenock's rise to the top of the SC2 scene. I encourge people to share their thoughts on this idea as well as any fond memories they have of Leenock in his recent games.

A year ago, the best three players in the world at their race were FruitDealer, Maka, and Tester.
SC2 is too volatile. Too many new players coming and going each day.

No this thread deserves nothing. Many progamers in SC2 "history" (luls) have assumed a title of "the first bonjwa" but time has told that every player has their shining moments and their dull moments. Right now it's Leenocks time to shine, but he hasn't proven anything that he deserves a bonjwa title.

As far as I can recall, Leenock has never performed well in GSL, probably cause he still has to go to school and lacked sufficient practice. I remember his decision making was not the greatest compared to other zergs like Losira/Nestea/zenio back then..
He's definitely a good up and coming player, but nowhere near achieving bonjwa status..

Ths is too early. Winning two tournaments, even if one is the GSL (which he hasn't done yet) is significant but does not make someone a bonjwa. I need to see long term domination of the scene nestea or mvp esqu

Can we just accept that "bonjwa" is a title designated only for sAviOr? It's exclusive to him, and the three Terrans that became known retroactively as such. There are no more bonjwas, and there won't be any others for a long time, if ever.
