It has previously been observed that the announcement very closely coincided with Huk's games in the GSL, leading to additional speculation that Huk could appear in an EG shirt. However, those games have now been moved up by 12 hours, throwing them out of sync with the countdown. If Huk to EG is really part the announcement(s), they have quite the dilemma on their hands now.

I would laugh histerically if he somehow borrows Puma's EG shirt just to troll the world

If not the entire team then at least sheth, huk, and tyler (americans). There are a lot of references to joining together. They might be acquiring some non liquid players as well. That is what I infer so far. Heosat directly denied this

(I haven't read the entire thread, I tried, but it stretched out as fast as I could read) Not to my knowledge, but since Huk is such a troll, and Artosis. I'm expecting some witty comments from both of them during his group play. That and Tasteless being sexy as always.

I can't really think of anything which would get me to react strongly. Ok i got it. Signing a legit BW pro like a Bisu or Flash. That would actually have an impact on the entire SC2 scene and i'd need to change my pants. Merely signing an existing SC2 player wouldn't make me think twice. It's like... yeah ok, we'll still see them play in tournaments, just with a different t-shirt. Nothing actually changes my SC2 experience at all if Huk switches to EG for example. Not even NesTea switching would change anything meaningful. But a BW pro swiching over, that's something new. Preparing self to be underwhelmed.

In my dreams the announcement would be that EG disbands as I'm quite far from being a fan of them, but oh well, in 14 hours we'll know i guess.

If I were to wager I'd say that Liquid and EG are partnering up together on a foreigner house in Korea. It makes the most sense as both teams have made a foray into Korean based players, and they would not have the same training atmosphere. With HuK, Hero, and Puma as the base of players who are already full time there, both teams can bring in other foreign players as their personal situations allow. I assume that if they join GSTL they'll play under the EG Banner, because I do believe that brand is stronger (or likely they're fronting more of the cost). I also expect the trade-off will be that some Liquid players will train in the Arizona house as well. I bet we see Idra, Ret, Haypro, and TLO back in Korea very shortly. A true all-foreign team in a Korean Starleague is certainly worth a major announcement. Player acquisitions are ho-hum
