OTOH, Ret was tweeting "go Select" during the Blizz NA invitational and I was wondering why he was rooting against his own team. Maybe if Huk was leaving, that would make sense, but Select was also playing Sheth. At MLG Anaheim, Ret mentioned going to a team house with people he actually would like living with -- I don't think he's ever made an appearance in Sweden. If Huk were thinking about leaving Liquid, I'd expect him to be looking more at a team like SlayerS -- he has great respect for Boxer (paid his deposit to NASL), wants to be the best and they train harder than anybody else in Korea. I suppose money can change things, though. A good question would be: if Huk (or anybody) is worth, say, $100k/yr to EG, why isn't he worth that to Liquid? Would Victor really be unable to match EG for one of the top players in the world right now? Again, I could see differences in opinion on what Ret might command as a yearly salary, but Huk ought to be drawing top of the pay scale on anybody's team. | ||
