as for the strats.... how about fast hiving in ZvZ? sounds dumb, but actually if you get to a level of zvz where you're safe (both player expo, can't attack), spore can make up for the gas you lose for getting hive and buildings easy. So.... defiler / devourer (devourer is common, but fast defiler in ZvZ would own, no? of course i don't mean playing to get defiler, i mean defiler once its viable)
