What a bunch of bullshit. You truly are a fair-weather fan like someone said earlier.
Why does Tester deserve a fanclub?

wtf OP, you just deleted the fanclub? I don't even know what should be done about this...

Why does Tester deserve a fanclub?
Why does Tyler deserve a fanclub? Why does Lindsey Sporrer deserve a fanclub? Why does Kelly Milkies deserve a fanclub? Why does Minigun deserve a fanclub? What about Idra? Talk about someone who doesn't practice as much as he does and has done nothing but disappoint since IPL. Yet he has the biggest fanclub here on TL.
The list could go on and on, you aren't one to judge who deserves and doesn't deserve a fanclub and neither am I. Yes you made the original one but it's selfish of you to take it apart because you have a new favorite player or whatever your reasoning is. You aren't a true fan and you shouldn't have made the fanclub in the first place.

Someone mad about up and down groups? Way to support Tester :/

What a dick move. You didn't think of all the other fans before deciding to remove the OP did you?
Even if you wouldn't find someone else willing to take over the maintenance of the op, you could have left it as is and just not updated it. This is extremely rude to both Tester himself and his fans.

That was sept 7. The up/downs happened today. You're dumb.

Tester must be pretty good to beat MarineKing without any practice!
|
Oh ya.. doesn't matter that he's better than 99% people who will ever read this, he just DOES NOT DESERVE IIIIIT. Are you 14 or just autistic?

I dont want to get into any arguments but this is no way to show support for a guy who is down.

Closing a fanclub is basically the most selfish thing you can do on an eSports website. Not only are you shitting on the player while he's in a slump, but you're fucking over his fans for no reason whatsoever.

Even if you think TesteR doesn't deserve a fanclub, we (the true TesteR fans) deserve to have a fanclub for him. It is very selfish and immature of you to remove the OP without consideration for your fellow TLers.

Was an awful fanclub post anyways. Please stick to lurking.
|
It doesn't matter as much as what you think of the fanclub as what other people think. What it TesteR came to the fanclub one day and saw this post? Like many people have said, it is very rude and immature to just remove a fanclub like that.
|
And I thought LR OPs were bad nowadays...
|
This is stupid. When you make a fanclub, it becomes a part of the TL community for fans of a player to congregate. In effect, it becomes a part of the community - it is not "your" fanclub, and the OP had absolutely no right to mess with it. The existence of a fanclub of a player should not just depend on how the OP feels about the player, and I especially cringe to think how Trickster would feel if he was aware of this fanclub, went on TL to check it out, and saw this complete and utter bitch move. Seriously. What OP did is just a glorified player-bash, a complete low-blow. How astoundingly reprehensible.

Tyler deserves a fanclub because he is both a player and very involved in the Starcraft2 community--through state of the game etc. etc. He's done a lot more for esports than Tester has.
Lindsey Sporrer does not deserve a fanclub in my opinion.
Kelly Milkies is a caster, i'm not going to bother comparing apples to oranges.
Minigun deserves a fanclub because he started playing SCII with little-no RTS experience and was able to improve drastically, climb the ladder and make a name for himself as one of the top American protosses.
Idra has been a if not THE top foreign player since the Beta, and his "slumping" (although he's still putting up top foreigner results for foreigners not living in korea) is not due to lack of practice. He's said himself that he feels as if the Koreans are getting a step ahead of him and is working towards changing this by sacrificing everything to re-move to Korea again. I don't know how you can even begin to try to compare this to the Tester situation.

As a fan of Tester I kind of like it. If Tester saw it, it would probably motivate him :D

So make one yourself.

I know this isn't really a... functioning fanclub atm, but just wanted to say I've been a Tester fan, since beta. Although his results have been very inconsistent, time and time again he has his own moments of brilliance, playing at a level most other Protoss can't match.
He didn't make it back to Code S, but I was impressed by his performance last night. His PvZ in particular, I think is definitely Code S level, even if he lost to viOlet. If he can play at last night's level consistently, I think he has a good shot at getting back to Code S. As good as any other Protoss, anyway.
I'm disgusted at what this "fanclub" has become, but whatever. Hopefully someone has the time to make Tester/Trickster a real fanclub, he deserves it.
