What you have done is put alot of spectators infront of segment of the open bracket. I will liken it to a zoo. You can go watch the Tigers randomly roam in their cage and you will kinda see some cools stuff that is going on. OR you can go see a show dedicated to two tigers where they are the complete focal point with a full show behind them.
Personally if I want to be entertained the second is going to do it. Booths(or even just a proper sound setup where players can't hear) with big screens showing the gameplay, live audience and commentary you can hear. The whole experiance is made to make that stage match epic without dilution. If someone wants to watch everything they should be able to watch the open bracket area with no issues. If you move the players away completly, you might as well not turn up and just watch a stream with your friends having a better seat and food :p
You are better moving the stage, commentators and spectators away from the Open bracket area and sound proofing/video screen proofing two people over trying to use a open bracket as a buffer. In short I feel the main stage should be an event area in and of itself with a seperate feeling.
The open bracket area. You seem to want spectators very close the players. But honestly I don't think the players want people randomly walking around them and talking around them as they try to play some good games. It is a fine line. the W is also as has been said a waste of space. The space point at the top is much wider than down the bottom making viewing the lowerpart of the W much harder. An E would be better set up wise.
