But banning Savior from professional games was the sensible decision, nor is their stance unjust. To say that Savior should be let in even after being one of the main players in the scandal is pretty ridiculous. I disagree. The guy didn't murder anyone or rape anyone. From what I understand he went to prison? He served his time, I think he should be given a second chance. MOst people deserve another shot in life, everybody messes up at some point.

The closest thing to proof of Savior throwing games was Hwasin's testimony were apparently savior said something along the lines of "if I do it you should do it too" in a bnet message.

But in the same way, you can talk about Savior the match fixer without talking about Savior the Zerg maestro, and such a person shouldn't be let into professional games anymore. He was a part of the problem that let to the complete crumbling of an entire team. That is some serious shit, and Savior shouldn't be given any leniency for what he did just because he was one of the most important players in the history of the game. He shouldn't be let into professional BW again.

I really disagree with how Kespa, OGN, and MBC all tried to erase Savior's legacy like some kind of attempted Stalinist collective amnesia, and also with how a lot of posters on TL think Savior doesn't even deserve to be mentioned again when it's basically impossible to speak about modern BW without mentioning Savior in one way or another. You can speak of Savior the Zerg player without having to speak of Savior the match fixer. In the U.S., we had a World Series that was fixed, and everyone that even knew about the fix was banned, even if they didn't participate themselves.

Scandal is one thing, but regardless of the culture, gambling on a sporting event you're involved in is the worst of sins. Remember the Black Sox ordeal? Some of the most talented players in the game, barred for life because of a gambling scandal. Michael Vick is still playing, but Pete Rose will never be in the hall of fame because of gambling. NBA players get accused of sexual misconduct all the time, but when referees' integrity is called into question with fixing games, they're never seen again. It's just a different level. Savior was a god of a BW player, but I don't think he should ever come back.

i think that 2-3 years ban from e-sports, lifetimeban from BW and returning the money would be enough.. if he repeat it -> prison
