You still need a EU account to play on the EU server. And you would have to manually change which server you want to go to, which involves messing with files. | ||

Beta clients aren't quite the same as the released client. But in their case, even if they are the same, you'd have to buy at least a copy of the game in other regions to have a key/character for the region. Regardless of that circumstance, if the client will be functional multi region with just a file change, or not, you will have to buy multiple copies. | ||
