People with shitty internet like me who get a max of 80kb/s on their download enjoy early patching very much. Fuck your 10 minute download. Plus I'm at work and noone's home to start the download for me right now Hopefully servers come up soon.
No one cares! Also your downloading of a EU server so don't complain!

Interestingly my SC2 folder was ~10 GB pre-patch, now its 4,25 GB post-patch. The old version folders got deleted (so yeah i guess old replays won't work anymore).
Mine is only 3.54. Thats strange

1) uninstall sc2 (backup replays first) 2) fresh install sc2 3) create realmlist.stf in your SC2/Support folder, edit it in notepad to contain the following: set patchlist us-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch 4) open sc2 5) ...? 6) profit!
This doesn't work for me. Just tried it and it loads up to the StarCraft II Battle.net screen and says: "Invalid version. Please try again later." exact same thing here for me. weird. alright then, just resort to redirecting it to eu in the realmlist.stf I've tried both "eu" and "us" set patchlist us-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch both just load the game and say invalid version. fresh install is from : StarCraft II Beta enUS 13891 Installer Thanks for any help/suggestions guys, you the best ;3 are you sure you created realmlist.stf in the SC2/Support folder correctly? gotta be careful that you didn't accidentally name it realmlist.stf.txt (make sure that you're not using the "hide extensions for known filetypes" setting) also make sure you do the uninstall-reinstall
apparently I had known file extensions hidden. :|
thanks!
us didnt work again though.
eu is patching fine though!
thanks again!

do we know anything about the maps?

Roach is now one food, looking for more changes, will update.
Says thors damage is changed. To air: 8 slash damage Bonus: 4 vs light. Changed from 6 Slaash Bonus 6 vs light. Thors hammer (ground) damage is 45 from but a longer cool down from 1.28 to 193 ( so actually a tiny less dps).
Corrupter damage change from 14 to 12. but buff to their Bonus vs Massive: from 6 to now 10. Speed slightly reduced from 2.95 to 2.75.

Yes, I've uninstalled, reinstalled, added realmlist.stf (not .txt) and it just loads the game giving the same error.

Then tonite, when BNet 2.0 will be up and almost every beta-testers rdy to jump in, we will all get into the server at the same time, huge test for the 27th release.

for me SC2 still says "invalid version" when i start it up. I try to run Blizzard Update manually but it doesn't work either. any ideas?

Hard to say what game type they are for, anyway both are 4p maps.
Seems that Incineration Zone, Decena and Coalition aren't present so that could indicate the new two are replacement 2v2 maps.

To stop blizzard servers going into melt down as everyone and their grand dad tries to download the patch, only to cry cus they are downloading at 1kb/s. Patching early means you can try later when mayby less are hammering the servers.
Well thats my reason.
