There was nothing fail about that proxy... it did exactly what it was supposed to do.

Unfortunately for Oz, Hiya vs Fantasy and Lomo vs Best is exactly the opposite of what they wanted! They were so close to getting decent matchups (Lomo's TvT has its moments, such as when he beat Fantasy in PL earlier this year, and of course Hiya can win a TvP) there....

in that replay, canata's scvs were stacked (or appeared to be) while running up and down the side of the rax away from the reaver

Well you're right but I can't be done at the moment since the progamer's average APM is currently about 300~400. In order to do an SCV/probe/drone escape WITHOUT stacking them, you will need like ... iono 1,300 apm?

I get the feeling that Canata could've forgone his natural in favor of an ebay and more tanks...I think hanging back with those tanks would've been a bit more favorable than losing them all to sweep up the proxy.

you stack the SCV's so they dont get blocked by tanks and stuff

It's still 1000x better to run with SCVs getting them stacked.

Then they all unstack and take ages to mill around which basically guarantees that a reaver will kill them. If you maynard your scvs fast enough the scarab will just bug out.
