Effort on the other hand has been extremely busy. I want him to have to play TvZ and to figure out how to win again, not ride a matchup (TvT) that was basically made for him given his strengths. It's not like Flash has no hope to step up his game again ... amazingly enough he is actually 18 months younger than Effort.

I'll say this again. SC Pro scene started up when the game was fairly new still. Balance wasn't at its peak and it flourished. You don't need the extreme sort of balance of current SC1 to have a competitive thriving Pro Scene.

How do you know where money will go?Blizzard became GOM sponsor few weeks ago.Sure pro scene didnt start when SC was perfectly balanced like now, but you need this balance to get SC1 pros to SC2.Why move over to inbalanced game when you have all the leagues and set scene for SC?Becouse of better graphics?
You are very enthousiastic about SC2 and thats understandable, but dont expect it to take over SC1 like nothing, especially in korea.

as plexa said, iris deserves another shot at a title, his TvT is very good -- yeah he's an underdog for sure against Flash, but not as huge as people think

Mutas will be out in time for EffOrt to deal with the vultures. Iris has hidden them at top right. Mutas have now seen them and are taking them out.
Iris has 5 gols and 2 marines but he doesn't have an add on or an engineering bay. No gol range :/
