Needed to just deny the main base expansions and mix in reavers.

Anyone who doubts effort now should take a good hard look at tonights games.
Every single one was full of pressure and required immense skill.
Whether or not you like him as a player he definitely deserves respect

When asked about the sayings that Effort will destroy anyone who gets sent out in ace, Effort responds by saying that he practiced very hard on that map for the ace matches and he was able to win because of his hard work and effort.

commentators: if it weren't for you CJ wouldn't have been able to win effort: i honestly thought if we lost in the beginning we would suffer.. and indeed, it was hard but fate/luck was on our side and our teammates worked very hard os i believe we were able to get this far
effort: when outsider was the map decided, i practiced extremely hard. i worked hard to show great matches to live up to peoples' expectations.

effort: coach didn't want me to feel pressured so he said, "it's okay if you lose" when he sent me out effort: in the playoffs, though hwaseung is a very strong team, we will work hard so we can beat them

I feel bad for Khan here, lots of opportunities to close things out that never happened...
Either way this turned out better than I expected - especially with effort just dominating

Well before I felt this way. I honestly felt he was over hyped. But you have to give it to him now. He won when it really, really mattered. He came through when his team needed him.

All he needed to do was continue to control air with Corsairs and take more expos. Eventually add reavers. Why..why.. Seriously I dont undestand that at all. He was in control of the game and then he pulled out Kwanro style suiciding his whole army. Stork wasn't in control of anything when he suicided his army. Stork did that because it was his best play. Effort had just exploded with Ultralisks; if Stork didn't kill him at that moment, he was done. Well, technically, the moment to attack was 30-45 seconds before 8 Ultralisks popped out, but it was still his best play. He was losing/had lost, and that was all he had. Nope, not true. Stork just needed to defend his expos and eventually tear down the ultralisk herd, while denying extra expansions. He was doing well. Stork was definitely in control of air with his corsairs (kept making them too) and I have no idea why he did that. Just needed to start making reavers eventually.

Effort saying Coach Cho told him to play with a relaxed mind, and lessened the tension by telling Effort that it's okay for him to lose (just for psychological help).
Effort also says they can defeat Hwaseung ez.

Agree. Killing ovies on this map is especially important since gas is abundant but minerals not so much.
Also at the end of the game Stork had better economy than Effort. Just was left without any army after suiciding his entire force...

Really? Looking at his expression (or lack thereof), I thought he was talking about the state of the cardboard box manufacturing industry.

Just as I said in the format thread that one player could win 3 out of the 5 required games, it has happened. How can the final of the "team" league come down to one player.; it's absurd.
Any CJ fans flaming me for nonsense reasons better watch out... you've got Jaedong next.
