I think your underestimating the hotkey and spam structure, its almost like an sc fingerprint, romad is like 99.99% acurate in this aswell | ||

There are a lot of pros so how do you start the elimination process to compare a specific player. And how do you know that the player whose replay you have (supposedly the pro) is actually a pro? by that i mean how do you know you dont have a faker on the replay. | ||

Believe it or not, hotkey signatures are basically unique for every player. You don't 'fake' stuff like that. | ||

He means that if you're comparing a rep to another you have in a iloveoov rep pack how do you know all the reps in the rep pack are of iloveoov. But I guess most of them will be so if you're into this kind of thing you can work out which ones aren't pretty quickly. | ||

I usually use ones that you can tell 100% that its the player playing like reps from wwi, blizzcon, etc. Also some practice reps are released. | ||

Romad has like photographic memory, he remembers everyone's hotkey pattern so he usually knows the person's identity within a few seconds. I don't have that ability so what I usually do is I start with players with a similar APM and I go from there, slowly and painfully comparing the hotkey patterns one by one. | ||
