As it doesn't seem to be an issue I don't think any more action is necessary but just so we are clear it literally is everyone agreeing on Machinehead being completely wrong/bad. I'd elaborate on this but I am trying to become a diplomat for the SCBW community and my true emotions would probably be a step back from that. With all due respect, anyone who has been presented all the information, if they think what you have said, they should be embarrassed. To me that is not even an opinion. Day and some other person with some name that starts with a T... seem to be the only people that understand what really happened. Kudos to them. When I made an agreement with Day, there are two ways to look at it: 1) play my match with Idra, then resume tomorrow to accommodate Day. 2) The tourney is rescheduled for tomorrow. I couldn't make my mind up on which it was. At first I thought it was number 1... but for me to even think number 2 is what it is, WCG had to confirm this in my mind. Blaming someone who takes a walkover, and only wants it to stand if they won't allow me to reschedule the game vs him is so ridiculous. A 5 year old could see there is no problem with that. You guys don't even understand why this would be a concern to me, which is sad. Why even post if you won't put thought into it? If you reschedule a match versus your opponent before the official time begins, that will obviously work out. But, if you want to reschedule the matches to be after the official time, you would have to be a fool to think it is cool if the WCG admins don't acknowledge your wishes. They could have easily not even known and just used w/e method to decide the results. The agreement with Day isn't even proof that I agreed to play Idra on that day; there are 2 options -- we did not clarify this enough. Yeah, number 2 makes more sense. But if WCG admins ignore you, it's really hard to place blame on anyone but them. Anyways, the matter is done, but it bothers me that you can make something out of nothing. A precaution against being DQ'ed shouldn't be mistaken for abuse... I showed up when WCG led me to believe I should have. It's so simple, jesus. Btw, gameon doesn't lag anymore (for me at least) and that is great news. Anyways, I wish everyone luck and I apologize if they can't see the obvious. It's so weird to play someone and have them be negative when you were trying to get the game rescheduled to tonight. It's hard to really feel like playing in that ambiance of confusion. Not making excuses, as Idra is clearly... the better player... it just takes any fun out of the game.

Players can agree to play the match at a time other than the time specified. Even if you decided to cautiously attend the originally scheduled time of the tournament because you just weren't sure, you were completely aware of the discussion in this thread about postponing the matches. So you should have never taken the W/O. It just seems very underhanded to agree to something and then go back on your word. Even in the scenario you describe, where you weren't sure what you were agreeing to . . . When Idra didn't show up, you had to know it was because he was anticipating playing you at 6 PM on Monday. One of the main points you've been making is that you are worried that the incompetency of WCG will screw you over. Well, taking a W/O seems a lot like you are trying to use the incompetency of WCG to your advantage. The people that you allege agree with you are just telling the rest of us to get off your back, not that they agree with what you did. The getting off your back will happen as soon as you stop pretending to be in the right about this. If I were going to try to fuck someone over, I would make sure that the fucking over took place within the rules of the competition, instead of outside of the rules and outside of a publicly accepted agreement.
