He was almost flawless mechanically, only his decision making/strategy failed him. Good fight nonetheless. He should do better in near future. an astute observation people seem to forget that idra is basically learning the game from scratch while he's in korea because of how differently korean pros play the game goddd his play was so fucking sick, better than i thought he'd play and i watch him play all the goddamned time its a pity trap was 10x better than i thought he was too ![]()

"1 fac expand" though a bit too general to be called a build in and of itself is the standard, very very rarely will you see progamers do anything else. Also why is everyone saying these were his first games? Why doesn't his msl qualis last season count? Didn't he play vs July for MSL qualis? It wasn't televised. This is his first live televised match. The vod had korean commentary so that means that they casted a replay or something?

He showed decent matches, but i think that after a year of 12 hours practice you must at least show decent games. Idra should just retire, i don't see him ever getting more than round 1

While Idra turtles hardcore and tries to expand, the best protoss can do is to mass expo and gateways like crazy. That's exactly what Trap did and he won easily with 8k left in bank at the end -.-

What matters is can your break your own obstacles and can you raise your level of play progressively higher.

Of course not, because they help the A-team practice. The CJ coach himself credited their B-team for the help they gave towards the WL win.
