Probably best case scenario for him. Unless he's really back, facing Yarnc or UpMagic could be tough, though I think his ZvZ can take Yarnc (but Yarnc is good at ZvZ nonetheless and definitely has better muta micro and whatnot like Lux).

Zero played better than Savior, although Savior's game was more entertaining because he is always one step from losing... I don't think savior is "back", the SC pro scene evolved and he is not Jaedong's level.

Zero played better than Savior? O_o Destination's ZvP's are like.. Z is on a 11-win streak or something. Bisu didn't play that well either... Zero had great muta micro and pretty good defense against the DT harrass but Bisu really wasn't playing like himself.

And for some reason Bisu thought that delaying storm is an amazing idea.

If you want to talk about map statistics how about talk about Harmony which is 6-1 ZvP now the only win coming from Jangbi's well planned out Speedlot/Archon push that comes according to the commentators 15 seconds faster than normal. Zero made no mistakes during that game, none at all. Savior played pretty good though, got an advantage by killing the probes and kept it by containing bisu. His macro is questionable though compared to the other current zergs, his Hydra army seems way too small without teching expanding too much.

Damn yeah! This actually made me do some changes in my fantasy PL team.

I wish maGma had gone thru along Savior, but from his play, he is still far away from the JDesque style he is supposed to display in practice games.

And lol at Bisu. I never disliked him especially, but after what he did in the group drawings, he had it coming.

Let's just say, if you say Savior's didn't play great, you're insulting Bisu. So Bisu's fan should say DAMN SAVIOR PLAYED AbSOLUTELY AMAZING! Therefore Bisu just lost by amazing play and not that he sucks against z now. And well Savior fans can just be happy Savior won and that's that.

Happy Happy Win Win :D

edit: especially with the oh savior only won by that "all-in" ling attack. That's actually insulting bisu more than insulting savior because at least savior did win with it and bisu did lose to it.

Bring both down with them since at least Bisu's done great recently.

The fact that Bisu would not gg even when his main got destroyed along with all his gates and tech shows the kind of mental state he was in.

anybody who thinks that Savior was not fucking impressive in that game has gotta be kidding me. He shut down Bisu so completely that he was never able to really expand beyond his natural until the last few minutes of the game when it was already completely over. Savior kept Bisu on his toes by harassing constantly and dropping multiple times, as well as playing clutch and sniping off shuttles and observers and Bisu was not able to respond well. His nerves got the best of him, he was playing pretty badly overall. Bisu choked hard, I dunno what he was thinking in the end, I think he was too stunned to even gg as all his bases were getting destroyed (in fact I believe he was eliminated). That's why he played so badly later on and didn't advance. It's a shame that a player of his caliber just messed up so badly.

If savior can keep this up, I think he will advance far into the tournament. I hope he does well. I like Bisu as a player, but in all honesty he got owned this game, no denying it.

Savior had a HUGE lead after those initial zergling allin. He killed around 11-13 probes, everything at the expo expect 2 probes. That's HUGE.

Savior won because of that play. He would have either took the game longer / lost if he didn't get such an early lead.

Bisu didn't choke, he was just extremely shaken after the first zergling rush.

All in? Okay...

Savior made maybe 20 lings or so. That's 10 drones. Z's have less drones than Protoss so drones are a bit more valuable than Probes I think. Savior came out ahead, but just a tiny bit. It wasn't nearly as much as you're making it out to be...

13 probes
+ 2 zeals / 2 cannons / and 1 minute of lost mining time.

That's about another 600-700 minerals advantage early game.

Doing this much early damage stalls everything that protoss does mid-game.

You need to work on your math (13*50+2*100+2*150=1150) >_< but you're right 1150 minerals AND time spent not mining. The zerglings gave savior a great lead but they were far from all-in keep in mind his drone saturation was quite good it was at most 20 zerglings and so 500 minerals. Savior was not going all-in he simply wanted it to delay Bisu.

You can argue that he had to cut drones to do this but thing is when playing zerg you can't afford to mass drone up early game against somebody like Bisu who loves to pressure with his initial zealots. Savior did not play bad.

ZerO played flawlessly in that last game. Perfect muta micro combined with good macro and great unit positioning.

I'm a big savior fan, but he almost blew quite a lead after raiding Bisu's natural.

I assume you mean the initial attack with the lings in which case you are entirely wrong. That was his best chance at gaining the lead which he could carry throughout the rest of the game.

Bisu isn't just going to beat Saviour, it's going to be a sad pitiful rape. Whichever zerg wins in that other match is also going to rape saviour into a sad pitiful pile of refuse.

Wow, Savior's decision making and micro was incredible this game. It looked like I was watching the Maestro again. I thought his macro was still a little weak though, and Bisu was always threatening to make a comeback. His ball was scary the entire game.
