bunker going up for 910, as well as a fact and a starport already inside of his base. Super super defensive play from 910 against some sort of weird 2 hat build from yanrc

i guess it's 2 hat muta, which is scouted by one of 910 's scouting scv's

dropship now done, yarnc's muta harass is doing fairly well at sniping off scv's (about 4 sc's gone) first turret is up for 910.

Yarnc is just taking him apart with mutas now. He keeps killing the medics to make the marines useless. He just dropped 2 hatches at the same time at his min only. no cc for 910 yet.

yarnc using the close cliff overlooking the main minerals to his advantage, gets about 7 scv's so far
starts harassing the nat, gets about 3 more. Gol range just finished, so the muta harass should be much worse now.
910 keeps losing gols, he's still only got 2 so far

the mutas keep dying, but they're also keeping the gol count low as well.
the lings break the wall, the muta are still sniping gols. yarnc has no econ, but it's not like 910 has the units to fend off what yarnc already has

Reaver is out for rock, he takes his expo. Looks like corsair/reaver coming up. Yarnc takes his third and loses more ovies to sairs, as yarnc suicides a few mutas to take out the reaver.

yarnc loses 2 or 3 more ovies to corsairs, it almost looks like he didn't prepare for a game vs 1 base tech. He expanded at the correct time though, and it looks like the game is still close
first obs, 2 reavers, and about a control of sairs out for rock, and he now also has his nat.
yarnc has 3 bases, 4 hatches, and is still on lair tech.

after this many years of watching rock.... I don't like him but I can't help feeling sad when he loses. How sad is that I don't like him as a personallity or a player but his continual failure hurts to watch!

Rock looked pretty good, until he didn't do any damage with his reavers. His sairs were good, and it looked for a while that would be enough to win him the game, but he didn't do any ground damage
he also built way too many cannons, and didn't balance obs/reaver/shuttles well enough.

I think zerg should go 9pool speed more often on medusa. If even if you can't get a runby, it is possible to force them to build pylon+cannon to protect from a temple bust temple, and still deny scouting.

As happy as I am that he didn't make it, I'm sort of surprised that Rock didn't make the OSL. It's not because he has mad skills and should always make it. It's just that he sucks but has always made it and ruined the Top16 year in and year out.

Rock has qualified for a million and three starleagues. He has more OSL entries than Ra probably. And Anytime... and Kingdom... and Bisu.... Rock is as good as Stork, if not better.
His dragoon macro is unbeatable.

rock keeps making it in, and consistantly beats a top player to get past groups. Not this time I suppose. The other player who keeps making it in is backho, but I guess becuase of his back he's not going to be able to play

The problem is once he gets those carriers, he loses them to one turret and one marine (see game on cultivation period vs... Casy? Cloud? something like that)
Rock is horrible, and Yarnc was way way way above those two players.

Vs Sync (..although by mentioning Casy you got me unsure, those guys are basically clones - both even won OSLs, vs Zergs, 3-1, during 2 different football/soccer world cups - it's bloody uncanny - and that's aside from the fact that neither can play TvP to save their lives, have good TvZ and decent TvT)

I really thought the Rock had game 1. His sairs & DT did massive damage. If it wasn't for the drop, Rock would be on the offensive.
So sad to see Rock lose.. again. He has one of the best victory pose. However I rather not see Yarnc lose since he is one of the few OSL title contender.

just watched rock vs yellow game 1. and R O F L, wtf was he doing? camping on your base, giving yellow all the time he neededd to get back in the game and win. blocking your entrance with cannons.. rofl. yea these batch of games were abysmal to watch.
