while this happens both are continuing to tech normally - up getting a healthy number of scvs and starting his factory slightly later than frozean. frozean gets a vulture out of his factory which kills a few retreating marines before dying. frozean goes 1 fac port which is scouted with up's floating rax. up goes with 2 fac + armory. both then take their expansions almost simultaneously. up moves out with a couple tanks and goliaths while frozean moves out with a couple wraiths, a few tanks and marines. both of them succeed in stopping mining at each other's expos. up clears out his nat and the area behind quicker than frozean does his nat. frozean with his superior tank count clears out his nat and then counters at up's natural which is weakly defended. up staves off the attack but at the cost of a large amount of scvs. more skirmishes ensue at up's nat with frozean taking out up's nat gas and disrupting mining several times. in this time frozean has gone up to 4 or 5 bases, while up's third was scouted. now frozean has an even more obvious tank advantage, as he's not producing goliaths at all. all 6 of his factories have addons. up is not mining anymore at his natural, and attempts to push forward with his tanks, goliaths and dropship. frozean loses a substantial number of tanks but nothing too debilitating. frozean has a commanding lead right now, with his pure tank owning everything Up can throw at him. | ||
