Justin vs Notice
Since when are we counting or expecting justin to win games wtf is wrong with all of you people, you have all lost your way. Next wel be calling Hery the next iloveoov. He has not had to practice tvt in ages so he will probably be rusty in the matchup, and he cant spare any advantages like that. On the other side of the court we have Notice who did not look to terrible in the gomtv tourny. And "not to terrible" is overkill when we are talking about Justin.
Shine vs Hwasin
Hwasin's tvt is ON FIRE, while shine's tvt is competant you need more then that in the playoffs especially against one of STX's best and top proleague performer. You dont send a novice to snipe someone with the nickname the Red Sniper, its just foolish and Shine is going to get comfortably trounced.
Yarnc/Zeus vs July/Bestgod
So hard to bet against my all time favorite player july, but I just dont see them winning with a ragtag 2v2 using a brand new 2v2 partner that they just threw together for the fact that they need two 2v2 teams. Against OGNS incredibly hot 2v2 i barely recall them losing not to mention july/soo lost to yarnc/zeus in the past. I just cant feel confident with STX in this one but i will be hoping thats for sure.
GoGo vs Yoonjoong/Shuttle
Shuttle is looking very good atm and gogo after and before the best fiasco has been slumping imo its why we not seen him in lineups so im betting shuttle unless we see the gogo from earlier this year even then he does not have this in his hands because Shuttle just bet forgg in a bo3 and hes definetly more then known for his tvp, Shuttle will take it to GoGo and walk away with the victory.
Leta vs Kal
Kals pvt although he lost in the end looked GREAT against one of if not the best tvp in the world in forgg. I just dont see him losing this especially given all his recent practice in the match, Leta has been looking solid but Kal has been hot for a long time now with a few minor hiccups but i dont see that happening here even given Letas past victory, Kal takes this one
Flower/Spear vs Calm/SoO
Now here the tables are turned, STX's "divide and conquer" strategy for 2v2 they have taken will start to pay off here. You have STX's seasoned team against OGN's ragtag team, except here i just dont even see them having a chance because in the other 2v2 STX had july, here OGN has no ace i see them getting rolled. The only mitigating factor is that flower is a 2v2 specialist, but he slumped hard at the start of this season in 2v2 and we havent seen him since for a reason. STX to take it, but 2v2s hard to predict in their random nature where starpower does not always equate to wins.
OGN Ace [Luxury] vs STX Ace [Hwasin or Kal]
Noway OGN will send anyone but luxury unless its the fakeout of the year. Hwasin and Kal both known for their v z play, while id jump with joy if they did, july wont be sent out here u dont send someone who u not made play a 1v1 all season and make his first a playoff ace. I cant predict the outcome of Hwasin v Luxury because both known for the matchup, but kal v luxury is easy as luxury's zvp is incompetant hes shown this time and time again and kal is famous for it.
My predictions show dominating victory for stx and I do hope that is the case. I just dont think ogn has the firepower for this especially with the lack of luxury, even with their snipers.

notice scouts south. finds justins' rax. justin had built it outside the crossscout path, but he got quite unlucky with notice's scout direction and spawn.
I liked his choice to place that rax not in the complete center, too bad.
1st rine gets harassed by notice's scv but runs away, notice's scouting scv dies to 2 rines, justing pressing notice's choke with 3 rines, bunker on cliff now at notice's 3rd and fact finishes at notice's 3rd (justin's) as notice's fact finishes as well.

looks like shine's factory is a tad bit faster, on the order of 100 hp.
both players 1 scv on gas atm as is the norm for these sorst of buidls.
1 rine from both players, shien lifts off rax and moves it towards hwasin now. addon on fact for shine.

hwasin moves in from the northern side of shine's 3rd base, roughly even forces... until shine's reinforcement comes and now it's like 3 tansk vs 6 in shine's favor, shine's 3rd is done, I cant tell with hwasins from the minimap, oh i think i saw the maynard on the minimap.

Bestgod redeems himself with stellar micro against Zeus's expo front, from storm heavy/cannon defenses, however the force of the two oppositions quickly dissolve it as mutas defeat the softened army.

this game is not over, I would say it favors go.go but about a 60-40 margin. He pulled a lot of his scvs out of mining and yj has prevented any sort of damage to his main.
Mines for go.go, he's going for the delay, pretty even so far.

tanks starting to sprawl out o fhte nat.
gogo engages YJ's goosn in the middle of hte mpa, it looked pretty suicidal but he ends up killing about 506 goons, so in the end it turned out quite well for him it seems.
6 facts for gogo.
min only has a forge warping in for YJ, nexus is done maynard is late, vult raid cam ein and found nothing.

Some mines kill some dragoons out in the middle of the map. Shuttle's third base being harassed by vults (no protection nor probes there yet) Go.go has another new base up and running. Not looking good for Shuttle. However, DT's drop on this new base.

gogo's min oly has finished as well, boht player sstart ming at same time.
TWO DT DROP on the min only. gogo didnt have any scanners yet, mining is halted.
2 turrets going up, 5 tanks come down, YJ slashes one tank down, scanner goes of fand the dt lifted back up.

YJ creates a clean 4 pylon wall in front of the 5 nat.
zeal goon coming into the tank line in front of gogo's nat, but he's greatly outnumbered, backs off.
gogo with about 16 tanks and 20 vults.
YJ loses shuttle and 2dts unecessarily there.

Shuttle attempts to run into Go.go's base. However, Go.go holds with a lot of tanks and help with vultures. He's pushing out and it doesn't look good for Shuttle.

Well, by the looks of those DT's dragging mines about and generally tearing Leta apart, Kal has saved STX for the moment.

kal DRAGS the mine into scvs, about 6 scvs die.
buttt loosk like dt dies with shuttle.
kal has double expanded now, and 3 vults run by goons into the main.
kal does have a cannon in the mineral line so he's pretty safe from that, kal waits till he gets an obs and clears it out, but wow he's actually lost like 8 probes!

scv spots it, ht dropped, 3 droppe,d the first dies IMMEDIATELY to vutls, the two remaiing get nice storms off and kal hsaves off about 1/3-1/2 of let'as army, and then backs off, but it appears that his remaining forces have been sandwiched in the area above his nat, and yea every unit died i think.

Kal does a good job of fending the sweet spot though.
It was a great opening by Kal he didn't capitalize though.

This was the first game where I was amazed by the awesomeness of the strategy, and I think it might be the first one where it was used. It's very good for a TvT, and certainly watchable if you want to learn more about the strategy.
There are so many cool things you can do with it. In the begining, his early armory, academy, scans and early goliaths hurt his tank count more than your wraiths, starport and cloak do, and after that you keep powering tanks and expoing harder since he can't touch you before dropships. Now you've got a macro advantage and the choice of throwing in some wraiths to counter dropship or wraiths, getting your own armory and start playing more standard, or just basically pumping tanks until he dies. I'd say it's really hard to play this strat well though since you will rely solely on your stratetig sense since your army will always be slower than his.
And BTW, what the fuck did I tell you guys about Leta? Even after atempting a faggoty ass strategy, he got fucked. In the replay they watched, you saw that Kal's low unit count wasn't low because he was poor, it was because he had a surplus of minerals and macroed much worse than leta. Next time, maybe you shouldn't write him off as a new guy who's gonna get raped.
I hope for a best luxury rematch!

All good stuff, I agree! Plus, someone who has been paying attention to pro matches would very likely have a much better sense of which matched the statistical underdog would have a higher probability of winning, thus making the liquibet something a bit more representative of pro-scene wisdom. It would be a lot of work to code it all in, mind you, and a lot more work in upkeep as you'd need someone to figure out a good system for working out the odds and then be able to do it for every single match 0_o
