I am alittle mysty eyed thinking about those days, the reason I fell in love with this game. Poor h.o.t-forever I used to jog home 3/4 of a mile everyday after school to play 3 hat hydra/lurker or 3 hat muta/lurker JUST like h.o.t and now I watch jaedong,luxury,julyzerg, and savior and think, everything I thought was incredible wasn't really, and it makes me sad. I can't even watch the old vods without noticing their mistakes now. I lost my once idols.... Do any of you who've been around the scene as long as I have (or longer) feel the same way? | ||

Yes man, definitely. I remember watching loads of replays in 1.08 of progamers. At that time as was amazed by boxer's micro, GARIMTO's ballsy moves etc, but i remember watching some old replays, you see them forgetting supply depots, not macroing and stocking over 4 or 5k minerals... things that are probably punished nowadays in teams hahah. It's a matter of what the game was back then... and the maps. You can't expect everyone to play Starcraft the way it's played today. It took years of play to evolver from "throw wahetever i can" to "I can micro this" to build order abuse to "FE, macro micro macro micro". | ||

He didnt choke, when he contained frozean he didnt do enough damage that was required with the build, if he had of expoed and still contained him boxer would have won, but he tried all in and it failed | ||
