i dont get it why progamers even tend to send their whole armys over to kill couple of opponements units, like best did to protect his exp near the end, letting Much to take down his other exp. If he split his army, he could easly defended the other one

Because in general spliting your army is a huge risk that is not worth taking. If either group gets caught off guard it will be slaughtered and youll basically auto lose. Not worth it. Best to keep it together and gain advantages more safely when you think you can (ie: moving your ball to kill some stray units).

That game only told me that this series won't be a cake walk for Best. The game was quite back and forth, with Much still managing to make the best of a more or less failed cheese, by doubling down with a proxy templar tech (loved it!). Its really too bad that he let that last snuck in DT hit the nexus once before going for probes, he might have gotten a few with Best moving his army in on Much's base and using his other obs to check for DTs sneaking in from above. After that, the game looked fairly even for quite awhile a little in Much's favor though, especially when he took down Best's third. At the same time though, I think (could be wrong) Best was outupgrading Much, which is the reason Much looked reluctant to engage in those crucial midgame battles because of their proximity to Best's main (quick upgraded reinforcements woulda been > Much's leftovers), and also allowed him to build energy on his tempars.

Best's DT drop in Much's main I think is the point where the game tipped slightly in Best's favor, and although Much was still in it, Best just never gave up that advantage. His storms were spot on and didn't leave much room for Much to climb back in to it. The storm drop on Much's main was more or less useless, but the one on his 3rd firmly clinched the game in Best's favor, effectively shutting down any hopes for Much even up on expansions by raping his probe count.

Good game though, and I'm looking forward to the rest of their series next week.

Well to me it showed that best won't be losing anytime soon

He was behind early game and outplayed much the rest of the match to dominate in the end. He looked pretty unstopable to me.

well that assumes you not to know where you opponements units are, whitch in this case Best knew perfectly well
