Bisuuuuu....plz...win!!!!

Bisu DT drop for the loss.
Edit: The OP reminds me- some of the TLPD pictures really need to be updated. That Stork picture bothers me. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HIM. Same goes for Jangbi.
|
I hope bisu rapes mind, then Much rapes backho and smashes bisu... much's pvp needs more attention. Other then that, I wanna see Sea vs Rock, should be a great game.
|
I HOPE MIND RAPES BISU, but then i voted bisu cuz minds tvp never impressed me much, he only waits for the toss to fall apart in late game.
|
we all know bisu is gonna do the same DT into carrier into epic fail again~~
mind will show us who is the master of TvP, him, not flash~~
but besides that, stork will take his game, rock will surprise us with a win over sea and luxury will fail again just like the MSL
|
lol @ stork's silver medals
sea > rock stork < Jangbi luxury > rumble bisu < mind
|
Bisu is going to lose unless he cheeses.
|
Sea > Rock - will try his standard reaver > carrier which Sea will comfortably handle. Stork > Jangbi - close game, but I'll give it to the man with the experience. Yarnc > Rumble - flipped a coin and this is what I got. Mind > Bisu - Mind has really sick TvP and if it wasn't for Flash, I think he'd get way more love for his mech play.

Hoping for:
Rock > Sea. I hope Sea chokes again. Stork > Jangbi. Jangbi sucks PvP. Who cares about game 3. What I wanna know is how Rumble is over 50%. Bisu > Mind. Hoping Bisu rapes Mind.

Much already lost to backho, sorry champ

Rock Stork Yarnc Beesuit ( -_- )
|
I dont know how in the hell anyone thinks bisu is gonna come out on top over mind. I mean Bisu's PvT just isnt that good and Minds TvP is 2nd only to Flash... AND Bisu is in a slump at the moment anyways.
|
|
everyone started saying how godly mind's tvp is after that anytime game. he didn't win it by playing good, he just waited for anytime to fall apart and do retarded shit lik recall next to a 50 million tanks. i like mind, but his tvp is far from what u guyz are hyping him to be.

Kim Taek Yong shall show he is among the favorites in this OSL today.

Actually he's going to get anus'd so hard they'll be pulling the residue from his tonsils. I just voted for him because my liquibet is fucked anyways.
|
Mind's TvP was good long before that game versus Anytime. Now.
Expectations.
Sea > Caveman Stork > Jangbi Y[arnc]> Rumble Mind > Bisu.
What I want to see.
Sea > Caveman Jangbi > Birdy-Birdy Y[arnc]> Rumble Bisu > Mind.
If Bisu and Jangbi want a ghost of a chance they're going to need to back themselves though. Both of them have the ability, but if they're going to need to show their best. Ie, Hay Bisu stop the DT -> Double expansion plz. Throw us some good PvT and learn from your mistakes against Mind/Flash in your bo5 losses to both kthnx. As for Jangbi, he's supposedly top of the Khan in-house games and it's not as if that means playing FBH 100 percent of the time, so he must have a decent PvP. Both will need to play damn good to be in the running.

kk-_- I need a 4/4 today.. yesterday 1/4 fucked me.. sad T.T NaDa..

Mind can loose this game. His fans ( ME ) will be depressed and dissapointed. And than he will destroy the other tosses and advance. We could see such drama in this group.
My predictions: Sea > Rock Stork > Jangbi Rumble > YarnC Mind > Bisu
3/4 yesterday so now is the time for something worst than that.

Question for Bisu--
The very threat of a DT drop or Reaver drop makes the Terran waste resources on defending against them. Fucking hide a pylon somewhere and then play normally just freak Mind out man. Plus, pure zeal goon early game has eco adv vs Terran until 3rd T base is up... so why not just go zeal-goon--> zealgoontemp+ arb?
Come on Bisu, be manly for once...

Thanks once again Corinthos! :-)

brilliant decision by rock to not research goon range in exchange for getting out a couple more goons to kill the assimilator.

sea tries 4vult dropship, somewhat effective but not enough imo
sea going for gols, looks like he's gonna play this island style.

Nice Rock... nice. Sea will come back from this. Make that mistake Rock, that tiny little mistake and the tide will change.

rock working on carriers as usual
sea taking 6 oclock, sea with 3 dropships out
|

i wonder if a pure gol drop will work vs goons and cannons though... rock has several obs on patrol around the map
|
Dejavu Sea-Daezang anyone?
|
Dang, daumplayer isn't working for me and the streams in WMP sound like the announcers are talking through AM radio. Oh well I have a final tomorrow anyway. Guess I'll study instead.
|
Sea drops 4 dropships of goliaths in Rock's main, Rock gets his dragoons and first few carriers in place to meet them. Heavy casualties on both sides, Sea's drop is wiped out, but he kills a few probes and most of Rock's dragoons. Rock has 3 carriers out now.
|
I just wanna know, is it me or is it PotPlayer thats not working?
|

3stargate and 5gateways for therock, 4 factory for sea. sea has his min-only too, in case you guys were curious.
rock took 1oclock main a while ago.
5 dropships full of gols drop in rocks main but rock was able to prepare adequately due to good obs position
sea loses all goons without doing much damage, although he did kill a decent amt of goons.
sea drops in rock's 1 main and kills an assimilator so goons can't go in. but rock already has 4 carriers out and gols don't do anything.
rock's gols in mid of map take down 2 more dropships and the rest are red health.
rock warping in nexus at 1oclock nat.

i use corinthos's stream and it works fine ! thanks Just asking though is the quality of the stream supposed to be very low?

try corinthos stream, abit behind but its not lagging : )
daum lagged for me.

Rock launches a large dragoon/carrier push. His ground army outnumbers Sea's, which is completely made of Goliaths. Sea's army is crushed, Rock has nearly double his supply count and is taking out his expansions with his carriers. Sea GGs.
Daum working ok for me so far.

rock pushing in at sea's main. he has a crapload of goons and a lot of carriers. he kills like 20 gols and the nat cc. carriers killing the minonly CC and dropships.
GG ROCK WINS.

the map is basically impossible to win tvp if you lose your assimilator early on, and there wasnt a damn thing sea could have done about it

no, not at all. you're forced to play island style while the protoss has complete freedom to walk around the map with goon/zealot. there's also a fucking ton of gas so carrier is readily available at virtually any time, and theyre very very powerful on this map

thats essentially the ideal build on troy

Sea did beat Daezang in that exact same situation. But it was more due to Daezang not acting like he should have after taking out Sea's assim...

177 vs 191?
after battle 92 vs 86

Large battle, Stork comes out slightly ahead. He loses a shuttle and reaver harassing and falls behind in supply again though. Both at about 120.
Stork's DT takes a nexus out, but Jangbi's army pushes through Stork and gets his middle-left expo. Stork heavily behind in supply again.

lol this is crazy intense pvp!!

even though Stork does good in the battles the fact that jangbi has 2 more expoes will catch up to Stork.
which it does and stork ggs

Battle at 6, Jangbi has a lot of templar and storms Stork's army apart. Stork launches a small counterattack with Zealots but it wont do anything. He ggs.

less luck and more stork playing terribly
that was some of the worst control i've ever seen in a professional game during that first battle

I swear, any other protoss in that situation easily ggs stork 10 minutes earlier. Still not impressed with Jangbi other than in PvT. Technically stork had the advantage in the first battle, but he failed miserably at doing anything other than hiding his reavers behind his army, and lost the game right there.

Maybe burrowed hydras would snipe your shuttle? maybe a fracking queen would ensnare your shuttle while over undropable territory and scourged to death?... What I mean is, Stork either doesn't think before he speaks... or he's just thinks this way... And it doesn't matter to me really, because either way it sucks to follow him. Bisu getting Robo Facility and Templar Archives. His DTs are moving in, Mind has some turrets. Vultures are out.

Bisu going dts made mind builda lot more turrets than he wanted to for a timing push, and made mind use a lot of mines in his main... bisu is playing perfectly
|
holy shit that was nicet timing and micro by Mind
|
you mustnt lose now kim taek!
|
however minds timing is sooo precise @_@
|
Mind seems to be setting up a contain of sorts. Sieged tanks and turrets in the middle of the map. Bisu tries to break it, but doesn't have much success. Bisu is about 20 supply up though, and takes his troops around the main army of Mind. Kills quite a few tanks.
Bisu has his Arbiter Tribunal up. Mind's mines have done some damage but not significant.
|
|
Bisu needs to find his former GOM TV MSL2 form
|
Both players with some good moves here already.
|
bisu playing super good all of a sudden
|
|
Bisu with an arbiter out, Mind going for a 5th base while BIsu's 4th is warping in.
Even Daum is becoming a slideshow now though.
|
oh snap bisu just might win this. Gosu contain break going around it and putting pressure on both sides, stopping reinforcements and getting a good position to break the contain!
Bisu Getting his 3rd expand and arbiters!

Bisu taking his 4th now, he has arbiters.
|
Bisu moves in with a large push on Mind's incomplete expansion. He's 30-40 supply up and has at least one Arbiter. Mind's army is getting butchered.
50 supply behind, Mind gg's out. Nice play by Bisu.
|
Wow! Bisu played that part at the middle high ground out very, very wel!!
Beatiful cut-off of reinforcements and forcing of tank movement!
Looking very very solid in his PvT for once!
|
THATS IT!!! THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! KIM TAEK FUCKING YONG!!! OMG YES!

lol all favorites failed.
|
BISU YES!!! u sick fuck where have u been?
|
|
|
|
nice Bisu gets his revenge!
|
|
Was it losing the Rax that killed Mind? Did he not have enough Factories or something, or was it just the Arbiter? It became difficult to tell there near the end.
Anyhow, 0/4. And I thought 1/4 on the last bunch was bad.
Edit: Wait, no, I was 0/4 for the last OSL group too. Wow. And after I started off so well this season.

Best and Bisu leading an SKT revival. Oov's legacy. That's it, right the fuck here.

Cutting off Mind's reinforcements! Nicely done Bisu

I just have to say... the SKT uniforms look like something the US Olympics team would train in... during the 80s. My poor eyes!
|
.. damn, that was actually some really good play from mr Gaytoss
On a micro-map like this it actually became very obvious why he's said over and over again in interviews that he doesn't feel that his PvT in starleagues have done him justice compared to training results - the PvT mechanics in this game were spot on, purely the mechanics, the thinking and use of units.
I didn't see this one coming at all. ggyo

I'm so happy that Bisu[Shield] won.

That last attack by Bisu was nice
1/4

Okay, I missed a bit of that which mattered so I'd appreciate it if someone can fill me in on this one. Was right then with the DT's actually a good call> (I missed what damage it did) I mean I think it helped keep Mind in his base, while Bisu took that third expansion and massed enough units to beat the timing push. However, I didn't see much of the earlygame beyond Bisu taking that first zeal/goon for an attack, so I'd like to know if I missed anything which would change the above.

Fast DT was in fact not a good call at all. I mean, every terran and his grandma knows Bisu wants to DT rush so Mind timed his ebay and first turrets beautifully. I think his DTs scored him 2 SCVs and a depot.
Not a complete failure, but not the results he'd have wanted I'd imagine. It did give a pause to Mind's BO and momentum, which I think played out through the midgame - and that played out well for Bisu. I'd still think he'd been better off foregoing the DTs, but I guess we won't know.

bisu did nice job with his first goon and zealot thou the dt drop was somewhat not so effective,i thought mind could settle up a good position above bisu's 3rd expo but bee suit managed to cut off the reinforcements of mind which was the key in winning the game- there was a moment when the supply was pretty even for both and bisu was about to break i think but managed to out think mind using some nice strategic moves

The Jangbi>Stork was so bloody inyourface after the group selection ceremony. Jangbi should be facerubbing Stork for a week after this.

Ye, that was what I was wondering Gin. I mean, I can understand Bisu reverting to a strategy he feels comfortable with with an advantage, but I didn't get enough of the game to be able to judge if the DT's were worth it by holding Mind back in his base. Because after all, even if they did no damage the time they bought could have won the game -> and I didn't get to judge that, so I was wondering what people who saw it thought.

The good news is I only dropped about 15 ranks since rock, jangbi and rumble were pretty much the underdogs that nobody voted for. Sadly Bisu vs Mind was pretty even but still, it could be worse, pointwise.

It's fucking annoying listening to a bunch of retards spout off about how Sea is only on the Power Rank because I like him.
He was 10th last Power Rank and OFF IT the month before. Why? Because he wasn't playing well. Why is he 5th right now? Because he's playing well! This shit isn't rocket science, and there are far too many people who don't put any thought into the things they say. No matter where Sea is placed there will be a chorus of people to say HES TOO HIGH FAKESTEVE YOU ARE BIASED AND STUPID GOD I HATE YOU

If Sea had flown to 1 instead of Rock's main with that first huge goliath drop he would have won. He got too greedy and tried to go for the main. Rock had 1 carrier, so killing the assimilator asap and raping one main would have won sea the game. (Korean commentators pointed this out as well)
He certainly had opportunities ;o just bad decision making

i had thought about that when i was watching his first drop but i came to the conclusion that it would have merely delayed the inevitable. Rock could easily afford those carriers and goons without that base. If you saw how large Rock's goon force was.. I mean at worst he'd have half that many goons if he lost that base and that'd still be enough to seal it
Sea's error in that game was the build order itself, he obviously had a backup plan if he lost his assimilator but i didnt see a path to victory at all once rock's carriers began
|
Dude, it's not THAT easy taking down assimilators-I'm still not convinced that if researched seige and made 2 tanks rather than tank + vult/mine protoss still automatically knocks down the assim.
You said he can spread goons, but if you look back, Rock BARELY was able to push the tank back to take potshots at the assimilator...
And if Sea scouted it out, he coulda planted a bunker...all I'm saying that taking down the assimilator is not automatic
|
But you're right in a sense-I think Flash said Troy was imba TvP because he thought assimilators would go down easy, but he has managed to avoid it...

I don't think it delayed him at all. As already mentioned, it killed a few SCV's, a supply depot and forced a few mines. Maybe those few extra mines would have made the push more powerful at the time Mind pushed out, but I don't think it affected Mind's timing at all.
Mind's play is so good. I'm liking him more and more every time I watch the guy

He obviously planned arbiters, so he needed archives anyways. He was always going to get a shuttle, so the only two "extra" units he builds are the two DTs.
He kept both DTs and shuttle alive for a very long time, and he did kill some stuff, and made Mind waste mines, time and scans back home in stead of somewhere dangerous for Bisu. In addition Mind had used a lot of scans before the Arbiters arrived. He might not have been empty, but it seemed to me that he could not scan as much as he wanted during that last battle.
Defending vs DTs does not come for free (vs a good player).
