Bacchus OSL Semifnals B - Stork vs Luxury

This game promises to be very interesting as it stars two excellent players in their weakest match-up. Stork has proven time and time again that he can't beat S-Class Zerg players when it matters most, and therefore was robbed a Starleague and several possible finals appearance. On the other hand, Luxury is still rather un-tested in this match-up and when he has, he didn’t look too hot. Until very recently...

Folks, I bring you Luxury!

Luxury is one of the OGN Sparkyz Twins. Always hidden in the shadow of his brother, he was able to step-up and become more than just YellOw[ArnC]'s twin. He became a monster. Luxury is the only Royal-Road contender left and is Zerg's last hope at winning 4 Starleagues in a row. He easily got through his first opponents in the group stage and was paired up with FrOzean in the Ro8. Hardly the best opponent, but he still slapped him around with style. Luxury is hot and in great shape. Stork is going to have to pull something amazing to beat him on these maps.

Luxury's recent performances against Protoss are also quite surprising as he was somewhat known to be bad at ZvP. He is 8-2 in his last 10 games against Protoss, beating players like Nal_rA, Bisu (twice), Much and Stork himself. This is a very important match in his career as if he wins, he gets a shot at eternal glory. If he loses, well we might not see him again for a very, very long time. The only player who can lose so many important matches and still bounce back is his current opponent, Stork.

So this brings me to Stork, a player which needs no intoduction. His haters, happy to see him lose to their favorites in the big leagues. His fans, forever broken-hearted by those same results. This guy has a lot to prove. Recognized as the next big thing by BoxeR years ago, Stork has yet to win any major tournament. He is known for his nice shuttle play and jaw-dropping micro in PvP and PvT.

Stork is known to be weak against Zerg. But is he really that weak? The only Zergs he really gets out-played by are Jaedong, sAviOr and GGPlay. Those happen to be the last 3 Starleague winners. Was Stork just unlucky to go up against very hot Zergs and just couldn't get in the zone? Would any other Protoss player have done much better against them? BoxeR never won a Starleague with a road paved with Protoss players. Stork must overcome his weaknesses in order to achieve his rightful position: the top. He is 6-4 in his last 10 PvZ games, with three of those to Jaedong. He doesn't seem to show any improvement in the match-up, which might suggest that he has reached his limits. Time is running out for Stork...
