Rofl at all the votes for Light. The way he's been playing lately, and on this map pool? That was an easy 3 points.

But three of these failed in Ro16. That doesn't sound really any stronger than the current quarters, might even be worse.

LOL. Light played well. He only made a few mistakes and those were the result of him scouting the island expo late. He got overconfident because of how easily he stopped the early nexus, but Kal lost barely any probes. So once Kal took his nat again it was 3 saturated bases from P against 2 terran. Kals play was essentially a perfect reaction to the scv all in. Taking the island and going dt drop to delay light/prevent him from pushing/establishing a push at his choke was EXACTLY what he needed to do to stay in the game. From there he executed flawlessly to carry out the advantage to a win. Light made no major errors and only one significant one, pushing out too early with a smaller army than protoss because he misjudged kals early game econ. So unless a terran plays perfectly then they "played really bad? That makes sense. Give Kal some credit

Give Kal some credit i really thought his factory timing was kinda bad and he sure didnt make many units definitely way less than he should have

His turret placement also suggested that light thought it would be reaver harass.
