Ingenious strat from Lux

His forge was in time to block the 5-pool had he scouted him first. Just bring like 8-9 probes from base to defend and he was fine.

So, teal backho at 3, brown frozean at 9, both expanded early, Frozean mining up the ground in front of Backho's base. Backho going for citadel and robotics, maybe DTs incoming.

Frozean has an academy done though, so DTs wouldnt be able to cause much trouble. He is also placing mines around his peon line and adding scanners.

Two scanners and some mines up for Frozean as the DT cargo heads out towards his base. Engbay is just building, so he has limited detection. Frozean has some goliaths and rines which help to stop the drop, so he is forced to run. Backho expanding to his third base and getting a stargate (already).

It is painful to watch, honestly, what do terrans expect from the 1 fac cc build on this gay map? As i've seen so far, it doesn't even matter what the toss is doing versus it, the terran is fucked either way. When i play on this map as terran, i cheese, i gundam, i joyo, but hell, 1 fac expo is not working.

DT / HT mix dropped, beautiful storming on running scvs gets at least 10-15 of them. Backho now seriously ahead, he should be switching to carriers soon.

I disagree. On this particular map, the 5pool was actually a great idea. Even if he cannot inflict any damage on the probes, he can just kill the assimilators and deny the 2nd gas from the toss while recovering economically. What i want to say is that actually i wouldn't consider 5pool as a cheese on this map.

Second stormdrop comes, almost mirrored: One storm on the peon line, Frozean runs all his workers, one storm into the worker trail which kills many of them. Clever dropping by Backho.

Frozean took his third base, Backho taking bottom right. Apparently he is not going for the carrier finisher but for the arbiter. Frozean is upgrading from three armories, which I cannot quite understand.
