Dividing the mm ball at exact glimpse when Effort was not looking and controlling was fantastic move. If he saw it, he would be able to delay it enough to get lurkers in time. Fantastic!

Oh yeah JD can actually ZvZ his way into the final. Also seems like that most probable way Soma and Soulkey can be eliminated.

My bet is on Light/Rush though (Light is in no way guaranteed vs Rush), as long as Terran doesn't give Zerg two freewins by CC first like last season.

Hopefully Terran can take this ASL, because people discuss how bad is the game state atm having only two races due to Protoss historical not on par with the other races performances in S tier tournaments which got even worse lately. However, nobody notices that we are actually in a one race game state for quite a while.

This’ll be the best non-Flash chance they’ve had in a while. Favourable maps and no Protoss. Really only Soma who can stop Light.

i'd say soulkey is slightly favored against light, but he'll have to get past his worst matchup to get there

Are the maps good for TvZ? I haven't paid attention to the map stats, but they look kind of Zerglish to me

they are all either even or terran favored, with only colorless being a good zerg map

That was the highest level TvZ series I've seen in a while! Insane play from both sides.

G1 was savage, both players came out for blood. Short game, but really set the tone.
G2 on Backrooms was a treat. I thought EffOrt really deserved a win here, but the margins are just so thin... one tiny slip up instantly tilted the game.
G4 Looked like EffOrt lost his focus a little bit... minor misplays added up quickly.

Light is an absolute beast... Pretty much 4x the same build, but these bio games turn out so much more entertaining in comparison to the mech timing pushes.
