You’ve basically got one ridge/defensive point to stop a Terran push and if you don’t it’s over. Once Bisu lost his third the first time it was over. Just a dull map. I'm ok with it as long as we can be constructive or at least have some nuance about something that everyone agrees is clearly not working here. and even then a protoss player did advance 1st in the group.

For a while, that double drop timing managed to deal major damage to Terrans and they struggled with it. But like they always do, Terran players have adapted to it - just like how they had adapted to defend recall to the point that Arbiter build has now become extinct at the top level. And you can see in the game how Rush defended that so well with just mines, sim city a one siege tank. The way this game opens, Rush wins the build order lottery: forward Gate pressure is met with cross spawn, then 3 Fac timing is not met with either DT or fast Reaver. So he gets ahead and from that point onward, all Terran has to do is playing a solid macro game. From Protoss point of view, if you're not Snow, there's not many options to come back. That double drop is essentially the only way for a player of Bisu level (you can't contest Terran's army head-on, you can't delay the Terran's march with Reavers like Snow, your only option is a hit-and-hope drop). The mid map flank wouldn't work because as you saw in the game, Zealot leg hasn't even finished by the time the Tanks are parking on that ridge, and the supply diffenrential isn't enough anyway for Protoss to win a big fight.

Shuttle's build against Rush was entertaining, but the rest was just a waste of everyone's time. Hmm with stage fright, then getting Bisu'd. Bisu looked like he hadn't played a high level PvT in years. Rush mainly looked bemused by the bad stuff that was happening around him. Well done, Shuttle!

I feel like there was at least a chance to do a little damage at the Terran third with that drop. As it was, losing the drop like that was practically the same as GG.
