JyJ and Stork.
Free has not hit required form in three years and I dont expect him to do it now. stork looks strong online. Mind is always solid but he does not peak as high as JyJ and his current average is worse thsn stork's.

By far the most interesting group for me! "Once stork, always stork" is a nice motto and whatnot for sure. But in the past 4 years(? -- not sure when he beat Last, got Ro8 in Asl and Ro4 in Ksl) being a stork fan was just having fun and seeing the good side of not so interesting things. For example I have been selectively watching streamed proleagues only when Stork participated. Suddenly one thing happened after another and he was winning against everyone but ggaemo. He began to keep pace with the opponent in the games, close out vZ games that he left open and lost, beat the shit out of stupid terrans trying to find a push timing, which previously ha always failed and took the worst engagements. So besides hoping there's now a bit of expecting too in me that makes me very highly pumped for this last group.

I think Jyj is going to be the other player advancing -- he beat Mind in all sorts of TvT situations in a final. He is not good vP (not as good as vZ at least) but I think free is in a limelight. Only coming back for the Asl's every now and then. Still he knows how to play to the strengths of a map and in general the map pool might mess things up, so it very easily could be free and Mind advancing.

Having two protosses out of the group is good for the competition

[*] My big question is, did he get good because it took him so long to learn the previous season's maps and only now that he had done so is Stork producing these results? Or is it not map alignment but some changes or improvements in some other aspect of his gameplay? It will be seen soon. Can't wait!

This group seems hard to call. I give JyJ an edge in TvT, but his TvP can be quite shaky. No idea what form free is in. Kinda hope that Stork makes it, but the last few seasons haven't inspired me with much confidence. Mind's always been good at TvP, so he's probably the favourite here?

Super hard to call this group, imo. I think it'll be a fierce battle but Mind and JyJ will come out on top.

To give due where it is due then both strategies Mind offered to the lesser protosses -- were genuinely great and working. If the setups wouldn't have been great, the failure wouldn't have been as great either.

JyJ was mocked when winning Asl that he only beats zergs, so who and why is surprised that he win-rate are down in the 30 percentages?

First match is Jyj v free on Dominator. Hopefully it is gonna go to protoss.
