Light rolled through his tough-as-nails OSL group, defeating Hwasin, July, and then Iris in a game that was meaningless to him (he already secured #1 seed). Light said that he won the final game against Iris with his old friend and teammate July in mind, allowing July to play in the tiebreaks with another shot at making the bracket.

Lee Jae Dong is currently the best ZvT player on the planet. We'll see if Light's hot streak can overcome Jaedong's money matchup (9-1 in last 10 ZvTs, the lone loss coming to Sheis, who is 7-0 in TvZ). Light, even with all his recent success, is the definite underdog.

This is Jaedong's first OSL, and his royal road starts here. Will the nerves get the best of him?

Usually, if it's a bo3 liquibet, that means all games are played in 1 night, and you get 3 or so points for it.
If it's a bo3 but only 1 match gets played tonight, then it should only be 1 point for the liquibet like usual.

This map favors terran like 7-4 record. But light said he doesnt think it favors terran that much when he was practicising. And jaedong said he thinks it favors terran.

A few notes on Katrina:

It's really hard for non Z armies to traverse the map, making the mobility difference even greater. By the time T or P armies can reach the far-outlay expos, Zs can respond with sunkens and defense in time. Mutas, however, are not hindered by terrain and almost every Z player opens Muta vs T on this map. Once the Z gets to Nydus without major eco damage early on, it's likely over. Light has to damage Jaedong before hive.
