Yeah I always thought they used an overlord, but when I watch TvZ I always try to spot the overlord going left, right, up, down quickly but I never see it. So I thought maybe they do it differtently but I guess it's hard to spot

What a sloppy group! I was almost asleep on Mong vs. Shine. Mong looks like most trash terran I've ever seen, his engagements look like B rank at most: random and indecisive, guy can't even snipe a defiler with vultures. Are all terrans now falling and Light, Rush and RoyaL are our last hope?
ZerO looked rock as solid, especially on that ZvZ when he defended Shines allin so easily.
Ruin looks like SnOw's twin brother? But seems like he didn't inherit even half of his skills and looked like an amateur choking on live stage.

Damn Ruin really underperformed PvZ. But I'm glad I was reminded of him because his play is [usually] genuinely cool. You can always tell it's him from his pylon sim city. Oh well. Brutal losses. Maybe next time.

Mong probably committed too hard to the late mech switch he prepared

There are some who say Mong and Sharp only became top players when mech switch vs. Zerg was the meta, when that died down and bio became the meta again, their TvZ went down a lot. Add to that Remastered being better for mutalisk control...

Seems to me Mong tried to be stylish not only in his haircut, but in the meta by going into the +2 valkyrie build, except he also tried to invent something new as well by mixing mech/bio into one build with no bio upgrade. He failed because he could not sync his valkyries with the rest of the army when the mutas were doing most of the damage, his valkyries seemed to be always late to respond to a point where Shine literally TROLLED him by going into mass muta the second time, since he figured Mong would be too sloppy to react! Humiliation!

Last game Ruin vs. Shine was probably the worst pro level PvZ i have ever seen!!! I can not believe how bad Ruin performed there. I hope we never get to see these type of ''mismatches from hell'' with that sort of skill difference.

Ruin kinda fell apart, but I wouldn't say that was amazingly untypical. Lings getting in to wreck a PvZ early game isn't that unusual.

Shine vs Mong was amazing. Messy but amazing, haha. Can't believe those lurkers just buried a fraction of a second before Mong got into vision and Shine put them on hold immediately. Balls of steel.
Queen looked a few levels ahead of everyone else in this group. Can't believe how solid he looked vs Shine in that build order scenario. I was sure he was dead before the first engagement and the he somehow held that and just calmy brought the game home.
Ruin looked nervous. I think he has what it takes to go further, just lacks experience.

Yeah, that was a crazy hold.

It looked like a lot of Shine's lings just weren't attacking properly. I'm not really sure why, like if he mis-microed or what.
