Right now they're having Mini Bisu vs Flash Soulkey for example. Right so he is just busy with other things. I wonder how he will do when he gets back to playing offline events. Surgery was the reason Artosis gave when it came to light that Flash wasn't going to try to qualify, at the very least.

Artosis also just said that Flash hasn't been laddering in weeks, focusing on various custom games instead

Honestly Artosis doesn't know shit about the Korean scene. He just regurgitates whatever jinjin says.
Flash is streaming and playing regularly. What he is doing is there for everyone to see publicly. No need to speculate. He would start the stream by watching and commentating on the university league, then play some games, either proleagues or ultimate battles.
He may have the surgery but as far as we know he's still playing a fair amount of games online. In April he registered 66 games on eloboard. That's not a low number at all compared to other pros, and more than Light (29), Snow (59), Soulkey (64), Bisu (53), and many more

Artosis says a lot of shit without fact checking as his general audience would slurp his saliva when told it raises your IQ, Probably without saying that, they would slurp just to replenish all the saliva that escaped from the corner of their mouths watching his braindead inducing streams.

Artosis' source seems to be cwal, where the most recent game is 4 weeks ago. I haven't seen him claiming that Flash isn't playing at all.

No Artosis just says that there are not many ladder games to be found by Flash these days, that says about it. The games he casts are specifically ladder games, so that’s what he comments on. I have not heard him commentary on whether Flash is very active or not nor why.

tbf thats not what he said at all

We have a small team match:

The game against Queen was just wizardry, it seemed he was everywhere at once and always had exactly the right amount of unit to achieve what he needed, everywhere on the map. Jaedong didn’t look like he even stood a chance. And he obliterated Bisu and Best with timing pushes that seemed totally unstoppable.
If that’s the shape he is on, we will see a lot of him in the next ASL

There's also a "comedy" league ongoing, and the lineup is kinda absurd: Nalra, Nada, July, GoRush, FireBatHero... you can watch from Calm's stream.
They also only play on shit maps apparently. Looks like everyone is having a good time.

Alright i need to find that, sounds like gold.
Btw @TMNT, do you know if there are some key videos from the academies that focus more on practice and general tips. Like probably that d be at the start of the season. For instance I find that korean players on ladder usually all have extremely good worker control even at low level. Surely they must learn that somehow. Or when the coaches tell the female players "ok practice this build" there must be more than mindlessly copying the bo. I saw a few games where the pros commented in passing how a particular player was good at following their advice to adapt in specific ways (eg if you see this do that etc)

You would have to dig through his vods.

There probably is but they don't make that into separated VODs. Most of the coaching just happens spontaneously on their streams. You really have to watch their streams everyday to catch it.
