There's another reason which doesn't seem really "nice", which is JD and Shuttle bring in huge money via donation, so the other players like to have them there. | ||

This might be the transitioning moment for JD where he is struggling and unable to keep a tier 1 competing form but is still way over above tier 2. It is somewhat similar to Best sometimes ago who now has settled into a stable tier 1.5 level after his retirement announcement (meaning: don't expect him to be an ASL championship contender or a consecutive top MPL performer but he will always be there at least group stage if not Ro4 ASL, and he can get an outstanding result in MPL when he is in good form, too, like last month). | ||

The zerg that spawns on the top (11'clock) can go 11 pool, then hatch above the ramp and can gather gas down the ramp at the natural with just 4 drones and defend a 9 pool rush just fine. Meanwhile, the zerg that spawns at the bottom (5'clock) needs like 6 drones to have the same rate of gas collection because the drone pops out on the right side of the extractor. It's a similar situation with Queen vs JD in ASL R24. Zergs are exploiting what Queen did. And, I'm also glad that JD finally won, more importantly the ace match and broke his 13 consecutive losing streak in major proleague. JD's form and mechanics are fine from what I've seen in spawn practice matches. He beat Royal, Bisu, and Hero recently in those practice matches but couldn't carry the results to major proleague so that makes me think it's more of a mental/psychological issue. People were sarcastically saying that he has been cursed since going on the trip to Saudi Arabia for the Gamers8 event and hasn't recover since. | ||
