The process will be the same as last season.
GGPlay picks first.
Then Iris.
Then Stork.
Then GGPlay, Iris and Stork decide who to chuck into Rock's group.
The process is then repeated for A, B and C for the selected players.

he didnt, group D members are selected by the 3 seeds after the first round of selection. so, Savior was sent there by Iris

I don't think you have to worry about underestimating him. Although his training partners might have been amazing at one point, they aren't of the same caliber now. A: Bisu/Shudder
Bisu is the obvious pick. Call me crazy, but I have a hunch the OGN Curse will hit GGplay and wipe him out. Shudder is the up and comer who will take the second spot.
B: Hwasin/July or Hwasin/Iris
Lately, Hwasin looks almost unbeatable. For the second spot, it's a fight between Iris and July. Iris may have the advantage in this struggle there are two Terrans besides himself in the group and his TvT is the strongest out there.
C: Stork/Jaedong
My man NaDa will have a tough time fighting his way out of this group. Stork, meanwhile, has won a staggering 69% of his games so far this year! Jaedong will be weak against Stork I think, but he has a chance since PvZ is Stork's only real weakness (but it's not much of a weakness) and the other two group members are Terrans. Jaedong should be able to dismantle them.
D: Rock/Savior
Flash is good, but not good enough. Without cheesey gameplay, he wouldn't be able to make it to the level he's at, and he cheeses so much that it's become predictable.

out of the 50 or so games flash has played, hes done cheese builds like what? 3 or 4 times? and 3 of them were against bisu

Iris is definitely one of the best TvT players in the business, but to assert that he has 0% chance to lose to the other 2 terrans in his group is just absurd. Is Iris' TvT great? Of course. Is it invincible? Hell no. He lost 1-3 to Nada in Shinhan Masters, and had only a 5-3 record in Proleague round 1.
He's incredibly aggressive early in the game, and has been caught in trouble at times when his aggression doesn't pay off. Would I favor Iris to come out first in the group? Maybe, maybe not. But choosing Hwasin is certainly not out of the question here, especially considering his recent form.
