Ok, so I'm going to propose a few options on how this should work... just vote or discuss / give thoughts and opinions on it.

Option A:
- Since there will be 12 people, have 4 groups of 3 players each -> top 2 advance to 8 man double elim bracket

Option B:
- Make 3 groups of 4 players each -> have top 2 advance -> 3rd place from each group plays a round robin -> top 2 of that advances to 8 man double elim bracket

Option C:
- 4 groups of 3 players each, and only 1 advance to 4 man double elim bracket

Option D:
- Target, Raptor, and/or some other guys show up and we get closer to 16 people, and I can do 4 groups of 4 with top 2 advancing.

As much as D would sound like a good option because there are more people...it COMPLETELY ruins the idea of going to ANY preliminaries AT all...which means WASTED time for people who went to 2-3 prelims just to try to qualify. You might as well just let who comes to play next year and save ppl money from having to participate in prelims to attend. Make it whoever can come to Toronto PLAYS nxt year.

EDIT: Toronto, or which ever city the WCG people decide to go to.

Xeris, pipe down. I already know what to do in each individual case.
The fact that you are asking for opinions means you are not experienced or steadfast enough in this manner and are simply showing up and being like.. "so.. what do you guys wanna do?". Just trust me when I say it'll be done fairly and awesomely.

I'll run the event at the event. I've done it for a few years and done it fairly so that all players agreed.

We only have 4 PC's to play Starcraft on.
And I talked about this with Stephan ages ago.

How did cuteguy qualify from London when Bandit won?

1 from each qualifier, correct? That's why only Schism is coming. Also correct?
