Good call that was exactly the move Ssinz also took a pretty bad fight with just goons vs a ton of hydra; maybe he felt like he had to to keep his forward army from getting pinched but he could have avoided the situation with 1 shuttle to ferry reavers | ||

I think he was way ahead and started doing very weird stuff during the game, reaver dmg, six reavers is overkill on two bases, the 12 goon vs 36 hydra fight, reluctance to attack on the brink of winning the game under effort's natural. Strange game. User was temp banned for this post. | ||

Strange game. Agreed it was strange and disagree with the last poster that sinz had no chance in a regular game. This isn't the same Effort that won an ASL vs flash (and effort is one of my favorite players btw) Sinz was way ahead, he got 2 drone kills with the first zealot and got his nexus before forge with zero losses or delay. He was in a great position and effort's economy was looking pretty bad. Sinz didn't even have to go for a macro game, he could have just ran a standard 2 base 8 gate zealot/goon timing and likely won | ||

Hero's read and quick decision in g2 was really, really good. He had no way to scout what was in barracks' base, he knew there was an early factory because of the vulture, but not the exact build (there may be subtle differences because of different timings for the vulture that I'm not aware of, I guess). He proceeded to read that the rax at the front wasn't producing anything and there wasn't a pack of marines behind the wall as far as he could tell with the lings, so he hit a great timing with the lurkers. And effort's decision making, ling micro and multitasking in g5 were spot on. He utilized every positional advantage ss1nz gave him. | ||
