Im sure I'm a huge minority but I fully expect sorry/royal to win this game. I don't think Mini has looked good recently. In all his spon matches. Its definitely not a sure thing though. But I think sorry has this. On another note, hero is looking fucking insane. Hes playing so well in spon matches and kcm etc. Hes really looking like the next top zerg. At least in the top 3. I picked hero first to advance and also sorry/royal.
Does anyone know what game Tastosis were talking about? The only island map they used in the ASL that I can think of off the top of my head is Sparkle but Mini didn't play a PvP on that map the only season they used it.

Snow versed Mini on Sparkle in the ASL5 semi finals.

Mini's you mean. But really he was just really behind in key tech units. Having your gas delayed that long as Terran and getting your marine count wrecked so hard by early zealots is just the worst possible start you can have. No excuses for sorry/royal though. Flash wouldve handled that way way better for example.
That reminded me of one of Flash vs Jangbi games on Blue Storm where the Protoss just throws everything in its arsenal into the face of a desperately surviving terran. Pretty cool game imo, though as a T player also somewhat soul-scathing.

I remember that game. He tilted so hard after doing that. I believe he still won the final game with corsair DT. I think it was on the Bisu vs Savior revolution anniversy as well if I remember correctly.
ZvP against Hero is brutal. Mini looked much more himself, he is after all two-time runner-up and this is at least how he should perform. Shuttle, Hero and Mini all in ro16, good times for Stx-fan haha.

Mini played a PvP vs Snow on Sparkle in ASL5.
I linked the vod and timestamped the exact part above

Uh oh, I was a bit sleepy when replying and totally missed it. Sorry!
atrox: you can watch it on afreeca until it's not on youtube: http://vod.afreecatv.com/PLAYER/STATION/61805092 (idk why they deleted it after cast, maybe it's been reuploaded since, didn't check)

Ty for the link, it's normally right up on youtube but wasn't today
It's quite common that ASL vids gets taken down because of the music. Then they have to manually reactivate it or something and it gets back up again.
It sucks.
Fun games. I am glad mini and hero advanced but I also really like Killer. I was excited about him during the late kespa era. Felt like BW went away before he hit his prime.
And Royal is an exciting terran so wanna see more of him as well.

For a while it seemed like Killer was going to turn into another Jaedong during the kespa era when they were both on lecaf oz. Good times
Sucks about youtube's music policies but it is what it is sometimes

My thoughts exactly. Also, can't wait for Leta to win the whole thing. After all, he has beaten Bisu, so he can beat anybody, right ?

Indeed, to beat a slumping bisu in a bo1 is quite convincing and proof enough that Leta can take on anyone in a bo3 and bo5.

I don't remember this. I remember Killer being the second best zerg on OZ which basically meant he was going to get nuked by Boxer.

Killer deserves way more respect. He dominated the Sonic era before going into the military. He is having a rough return, but his talent was god like for 2.5 years.

Well yes, my comment was a bit over the top. He gained a bit of traction in the last couple years of Kespa and had a lot of success in the first 2-3 post Kespa. However, my point still stands: He was never considered to turn into another Jaedong, far from it. I would also argue that part of his success post-Kespa was enabled by the fact that he and Hiya were basically the last decent progamers left. It's only logical that he would do better if you take away all the S- and A-tier players. I would also argue that he was already starting to lose his top spot prior to his departure for the military when more and more progamers started to come back from SC2.
That being said, I don't want to shit on him. He clearly deserves respect for the accomplishments he got in post-Kespa and I'm definitely glad for him, especially after he had experienced so many hard years of playing in the shadow of Jaedong. To be perfectly honest, that must have been soul crushing and I got a lot of respect for him for not giving up during all these years.
