Zero isn't my zerg hero of this age, the one zerg I feel can peak beyond anyone except Flash is Soulkey. Snow is soo good that I imagine he will win and qualify. The world is cray-zay these days so I don't feel comfortable that any of my favorites will win. Go Soulkey! Go Snow!

I'll also include some misc. spon stats that may or may not be at all relevant to this group; this is all based on the last 3 months (IE since June 2020). Soulkey is ranked 4th overall, he has, rather surprisingly, a winning record against all top terrans: 3-0 Flash, 12-11 Light, 20-18 Rush, 13-9 Sorry, 12-5 Sharp, 13-4 JyJ) and a 3-1 record vs Ssak. Zvp-wise (for a potential match against Snow) he looks a little less impressive with a 3-3 record against Bisu, 9-10 vs Snow and 9-11 against Best. Lastly he doesn't have a lot of zvz matches, and the ones he has are mostly against lower rated players outside of being 9-9 against Zero, 0-2 against Larva, 4-2 vs Soma and 7-6 vs hero. He has no games against Yoon. Snow is ranked 6th overall, and looking at his pvz I cannot help but feel that the most remarkable thing appears to be that he performs well against the absolute top, but then there is a decline in his performance against what I consider the 2nd tier of zerg players; 10-9 against Soulkey as mentioned, 15-17 vs Zero, 17-15 vs Larva. Those are all fairly close to 50-50, which is pretty much the best you can hope for; however he is 15-34 against Soma and 27-43 against hero. He is 3-0 against Yoon. His PvT is the exact opposite of his PvZ, as he is 5-11 vs Flash and 12-15 vs Light. For the next tier, he is 23-19 vs Rush, 41-27 vs Sorry, 19-16 vs Sharp and lastly 6-0 against Ssak. Ssak is overall ranked 18th, he is fairly close to 50% win rate in all of his matchups and while I do think his tvz is slightly better, I don't think it's by a large margin. He is just not a solid top player anymore, whereas he used to be good enough to consistently get to the top 8 of big tournaments; 1-3 vs SK, 3-6 vs Zero, 6-7 vs Larva, 26-33 vs Soma, 34-43 vs Hero. His TvP records are not too dissimilar; 8-10 vs Bisu, 0-6 vs Snow, 2-6 vs Best, 8-8 vs Stork, 4-6 vs Mini, 4-4 vs Free, 7-5 vs Shuttle. He has no games against Yoon. Lastly, Yoon is overall ranked 32nd, He doesn't have that many spon games, which is presumably because he is still rather unknown and as such probably doesn't get a lot of viewers / people wanting to sponsor showmatches. The only familiar names on his list in ZvP are Snow (0-3) and Shuttle (0-2). For ZvT they are Rush (1-1) and Sharp (3-8). The 3 highest rated zergs on his zvz list are Killer (1-0), Beast (1-2) and Hyuk (1-1). Not a lot to see here honestly, he has so few games and overall it is just the lower end of progamers and top amateurs. Map-wise the first two games are on Ringing Bloom, a map that still has not been super popular in spon games despite being in the ASL. With only 419 games played, TvZ is at 57.4% and PvZ is at 54.7%. A rare sight to have a map where Z is losing both matchups, but the sample size is tiny, and the map has already had some updates since it was first posted as an ASL map. The next two matches will be played on Eclipse, which is a lot more popular in spon games with an overall sample size of 2370. TvP is at 49.9% (217-218 games, wow). TvZ is at 53.6% and PvZ is at 45%. The final game is played on Polypoid, which is actually the most played spon map in the last 3 months, sample size of 3162. TvP 55.7%, TvZ 57.2% and PvZ at 45.5%.

Tvz is by far his worst matchup both online and offline (if you go + Show Spoiler + 2-7 Then again, Soulkey is prone to underperform and Snow could be vulnerable against Ssacks harassive highrisk tvp.

His proves in tvp and tvt made him dangerious in offline tournaments where he had great results against top players (for example Last and Snow). Now Ssak was the original 1-1-1 master, but nowdays struggles a lot because his trademark has been figured out.

Soulkey's attacks the last 10 minutes were unbelieveable. And earlier Snow in his endless push at the center against an ocean of lurkers was a beauty to watch, stuborn as hell.

Snow needs to bring this home Yoon didnt play perfectly in the beginning. He started 6 lings as soon as spawning pool finishes and threw 6 lings to get a lucky chance+no lair tech hydra pressure failed. He did catch up the gameflow really well, but no lurker playstyle was a mistake imo. Yoon really loves using mutalisk, but i guess it is not good in zvp. Hoping yoon gained some great experience even though he couldnt make into top16 and become stronger for next season ![]()

Everyone hopes that more new blood would rise up, and Yoon did not get rolled without a win. First game was ugly, last showed promise. Nobody belives Snow or Soulkey would lose at this point but still victory over expro (even if its Sucksack lol) is good.

Depending how long Snow was afk on that, I think thats game even without the reavers. I think his entire lategame sense was thrown off for that. 3 gas and he still banked 1k+ gas a few times. 8-10 templar would have changed any battle or another 6-10 reavers. Hell dweb could have prevented a few of Soulkeys swarm pushes. What a game. Still pumped a day later. Wonderful game. I
