If we are able to raise a couple hundred more dollars this will become a BEST OF 7. Scarlett originally wanted to 9 games (like vs Denzie) but Arty said he could not commit to that long of a series. Sooo, the longer the series the more favored Scarlett should be. | ||

2nd game: Scarlett goes for a super dirty 2 shuttle with DT drop, Artosis holds and goes for a 2 base push which fails and Scarlett rolls him. Artosis needs to get to a macro game without going behind in early-mid game if not it's going to be bad! | ||

Game 4 on Polypoid: Scarlett goes reaver, Artosis defends pretty well and takes his 3rd, pushes out at 2-1 and manages to sit outside Scarlett's nat. Game descends into chaos but Artosis manages to clinch it, great game! | ||

Game 6: Scarlett goes proxy gateway into gas steal, zealot doesn't do much, Artosis holds and goes into 2 fac while Scarlett has 2 gate. Artosis gets a medic with his marine army and pushes out and manages to contain Scarlett. Awesome series so far and game 7 just started! | ||

She put herself in a difficult position by playing the late-late game like it was the early-late game when critical mass tanks and upgrades make it a very different situation. Once the Terran gets to late-late game you can't break a push with gateway units and 2 arbs, you need mass arbiter, storms, or carriers. Artosis exploited that weakness decently and had he not thrown game 7 with an antitiming push into the middle I think he'd have won it. | ||

Kinda sad that Scarlett is leaving Korea for a while, it would've been so much fun to see her continue to improve, it is hard and less fun to play outside Korea for her I assume. I hope she decides to play in a BSL or something while she is in NA... | ||

Although I don't watch Artosis' games that much, from the games vs Kwark, I guess we can conclude he is somewhat weak against protosses that expand really fast and get a great eco going really quick. I feel that was his main weakness in this series as well. I thought he would be able to beat Scarlett on decision making, but in most games he never got into a great position aside from games when Scarlett's plan failed. Anyway, great play from Scarlett, will be fun to see her play vs F91, hope she can show a bit more of her PvZ play, esp since she said she considered it her strongest mu, but from what we've seen in these two showmatches I felt it was not nearly as good as what she showed here. Scarlett is moving back to Canada soon, where it'll be a lot harder to play with tr24. We'll have to wait and see if location prevents her from playing brood war. | ||

Also, I just wanted to point out that Tasteless' commentary was excellent, he pointed out all the small interesting details of the matchup/plays for people who don't play bw and made it exciting too! | ||
