Wow, Life doing an AMAZING job of delaying Zergboy's tech. Pulling all his drones with his proxy gate, then stealing his gas! At this rate, Cool will has mutas before Zerg even finishes his spire.

Shield has goons. Not doing much with them though.

Zerg is expoing to the natural above him.

Life warping 3 proxy gates at 9ish near Shield.

Zerg's expo has finished. Cool's SPIRE has finished though.

Shield's first sair takes flight, ready to shoot down any pesky mutas.

Zerg defends his expo with lings from Life's proxy gate zealots. Zerg morphing sunken and spore colonies at his expoes to protect them from marauding mutas.

Mutas from Cool do no damage to Shield, who has goons and sairs.

Life no longer doing much, his proxy gate zealots can't do much damage to Zerg, who is defending with a large group of lings and sunken/spore.

Cool's mutas are also not doing anything, unable to hit either player.

Zergboy suicides his lings on Life's proxy gates. Life has switched to goon prdoduction, and 5 goons + cannon easily deal with the lings.

eSTRO beginning the double team on Zergboy. Goons/mutas beginning to attack Zerg's natural!

Shield does a half-assed job at defending his partner, repeatedly flying his vital sairs over Life's dragoons.

Life has about a control group of goons and KTF has NOTHING to stop them from raping Zergboy's bases.

Cool harassing Shield's natural.

Life in the process of attacking Zerg's main. A small group of lings can't cut it.

KTF will get 3-0d, there is no way to win the 2v2 now =/

Shield is a televised noobie, that's probably why. He has done almost nothing the entire game, his sairs are actually running from Cool's mutas!

Zerg's main is wiped off the map, he only has a few random buildings at his nat. Life moves to finish them off.

A flock of muta/scourge fly over to Shield, who has built up a significant sair army.

Zergboy is eliminated.

Cool throws down some more buildings, getting a hydra den to make Shield's sairs useless.

Only a matter of time. No players has EVER won a 1v2 to my knowledge.

Shield turtling with mass sairs. Cool has a HUGE flock os scourge and some mutas.

Life elevators his goons to his Shield's expo.

I think monty is pretty balanced TvP, it's just that as toss you have to either gain a large advantage before the terran can push you on multiple sides like Up did, or switch to carriers at the right time. I thought Ra had a decent advantage for a while, but he lost every bit of that when he couldn't keep the pressure on - not being able to push into Up's main because of the tight quarters, tanks, and mines. Then he got stuck running between sides of the map with dragoons getting stuck and dying to mines everywhere, and it was over.

Despite relative 'balance' with protoss and terran, the map does have tons of other issues. While it sometimes makes for interesting cheese play (half the time because players just simply don't like the map and aren't comfortable playing on it), in the end it limits strategy. And of course, the moment you mention zerg, any balance issue on the map is multiplied tenfold.
