As last year, Rus_Brain has pledged to host another tournament like this next year if we publically double the prize pool, raise an additional 7500 US $. Please consider giving something if you can afford it. Also check out our sweet merchandise.
Note: Polish and Russian players in this list are eligible as long as they have not qualified beforehand in their respective national qualifiers. Players who qualify beforehand will be cut from this qualifier, no replacements will be made. EU players are still allowed to play in the RCG2020 World Qualifier as listed.
Each player, taking turns, vetoes a map until 1 map remains. First round the lower seed (mmr ranking in qualification) vetoes first, each other round lower rankd player in standings vetoes first.

Taking example of the business demeanor of our beloved russian overlords friends we will of course endorse corruption and bribes!. Each personal bribe should be equipped with a fine casing of Franconian Beer!

Also the invitation for the following players is still pending! -Sziky -Voddy -Non -Casper -Octzerg -Venom -Shad -Eriador
Accept the invitation via the Email or SMS text all of you have received by now!
Donations are currently at 8,925.14 $, thx to the lastest Champions of our hearts: Ollineo, Pl1stic and Dewalt!
Congratulations to trutacz for qualifying in the polish qualifier.
That enables secret corruption mode 1: 200 US $ to take the free slot in the qualifier! You must be eligible otherwise to do this, that means registered account in the ladder and 33 games minimum. No MMR requirements, first come first serve :D
details about map picking updated in the OP as follows: each player, taking turns, vetoes a map until 1 map remains. First round the lower seed (mmr ranking in qualification) vetoes first, each other round lower rankd player in standings vetoes first.
Sziky and Terran19 signed off for personal reasons. Jedi_One, Redeyes, Darkysh, Zoom, Shad, Scout, OctZerg, KameZerg, Julia did not show or left during the various stages of the tournament.
Besides the unfortunate drop-out of many players, i actually think the tournament is really great. We had very good matches and the players are really close in score, there's a lot of competition left for day2!

Same scores: Mad, Eon, Spx, Baku Mad = 1 win vs Baku Eon = 1 win vs Mad. Spx = 2 wins: vs Mad and Eon. Baku = 2 wins: vs Eon and Spx.
Although relative scoring between Spx / Baku is subject to debate, it's clear that group Baku/Spx > Group Mad/Eon.
Spx and Baku should say thx to Lancer. He earned almost nothing himself, except secured spot for fellow Russian and German friends. A signle score vs Lancer by Eon or by Mad would have secured undout top-3 and ticket to Moscow. Competitive StarCraft is cruel sometimes.
As tiering and taxing this format might be for the players, it was actually very enjoyable as a spectator I must say. Very exciting qualies, big gz to the top 4!
