Yeah, go for it. This also goes out to Qikz, Cadenzie and BisuDagger, all great casters. I would watch the hell out of a team of two of you guys!

I love all these new guys coming into the ASL. Ample, Brain, Soma.
Brain had some sick games today. He's looking scary.

The PvZ's have been exhilarating for me. Especially the one game that went to devourers in the Ro24 and Larva fighting for his life in the Ro16. Also enjoyed the carrier cliff micro.

I think Brain played impressive and really took on the challenge of high caliber players. That being said, Action practically toyed with him in all the games they played, including the first one. The casters even nailed the fact that Action is always happy to play a long game and never let it get out of his control. I am now unsure if Brain is just at the same average level of PvZ as Snow and Rain, or if Action just has the best PvZ out of the current zergs. In the interview, Action said they played a lot too, but I still don't think that takes away the strong ways in which he won his games.

Action was THE zerg after Effort, before wristsaegi took him. 2019 Aprill he was smashing everyone. Another great player who seems to be succumbing to health issues ☹️

I'm not 100% positive Action won because he was just "a way better player" (although he probably is). In his post-game interview, he talked about how Brain was playing really well, so he decided to just play super safe (aka make a lot of units). Soulkey is much more of a passive late game Zerg, so it's not surprising that Brain's aggro map control style worked really well against him. Action, on the other hand, played much more aggressively to fight back for map control and keep the Protoss army from just freely walking out onto the map without an observer or good positioning. The result was that Brain ended up getting his first army smashed, and then his whole game plan of getting map control and staying even with the Zerg on bases fell apart. (He also got ee han timing'd).
It shows that although Brain looked brilliant in some ways, he still lacks the polish to be a top player. He's still got some glaring weaknesses that dynamically change his ability to maintain the lead and close out games. A little more work on becoming more well-rounded by playing against more aggressive Zergs will go a long way for him, imo.

Brain vs Soulkey was great. I’m sorry to see an excellent player like Soulkey get knocked out, but if it must be, then it might as well happen in style.
Tasteless and Artosis know a lot about the game. I’ve been playing and watching for ages and I still learn new stuff when I listen to their casts... the 1% of the time they can pay attention to what’s happening. The other 99% of the time they’re off on their own world. I prefer the Korean casters, and I don’t speak Korean. They can be fun and silly, but they get hyped at important moments when Tastosis are still joking about an SCV that walked in a funny way 10 minutes ago.
Good casters use downtime to fill you in on stuff that’s not so obvious: • So-and-so is losing — how are they trying to turn the tables? What’s in their mind? (Expand/harass/timing attack/wait for upgrade) • That move that worked so badly, what was so-and-so thinking? Why did it seem worth a try? • So-and-so hasn’t scouted the thing yet. What are they assuming is going on? What are they hedging against? • That play only worked because so-and-so did that thing amazingly. If it had been slightly different, we’d be looking at XYZ right now.
You know, we can all see the game unfolding. I enjoy a good PLAAAYGUUU moment as much as the next guy, but when you’re not caught up in a battle, you can spend that downtime more profitably than just chilling and talking about nothing.

I think Action is just that good. He's not flashy but he is so goddamn solid. I always think of Soulkey or Zero before him, but while those players have more talent, Action seems more consistent.
I think SK and Zero are better vT, but Action is slightly more reliable vP.

such a good games so far, protoss players fighting so brave in base trade situations, stork vs larva, brain vs soulkey. Brain looking like a champion already, havent seen such a solid protoss player in a long time.
